I have a theory that perverts always have the most tabs open compared to purer members of society. How many you got perv? 20, 50, 100?
Myself, I have 66 tabs on standby, all either being porn games or YouTube vids. Is this a dumb topic? Sure. Do I still want to know? YES.

Firefox- my main browser
27 Groups - 1242 Tabs.
My everyday group - 112 tabs
Also break it into groups for my clients and whatever I'm working on for them.

Brave - my new number 2
19 Tabs

Chrome- phasing out and only use for testing when need additional browsing.

What are Firefox groups?

I only have the normal firefox with the 914 for the everyday stuff, that I want to keep even if I reboot. And icognito mode with the 82 for the temporary stuff.
Also if you play browser games (like Clicker, Idle or Incremental Games), often they won't work within the same browser, you'd need several instances.

I'm very disciplined with my tabs. I try to keep few open. I save bookmarks if I need to come back to something. I open a ton, but then I close each as I complete them.

I've always used Firefox, since it came out.
Occasionally I find stuff doesn't work as I run a lot of extensions that interfere with ad and social media tracking, scripts etc. So if a website doesn't work I'll use chrome or brave. Used to use mostly chrome but I hate Google so F them, I'll use Brave.
Also I do work for clients and signing in and out of accounts is pain in the ass, so I keep all mine open in Firefox and work in theirs in Brave, or do testing when I make changes to their stuff.

My mobile tab count is often so high that Chrome just puts a smiley face instead of a number... It isn't right now... It's 41 currently, but it could spike up again in the near future.

Lets you create a group and add tabs to it. You can rename and colour code them etc. Can see there only my Group 38 is active, and only 10 of those 113 are active. Can drop and drag to different groups or even delete from there without having to go to the group or tab.

Yeah it is. i used to keep several hundred open in the main window. It was a bitch to find anything and was terrible when I accidentally closed the main window and found I still had one with like 1 tab or pop-up open and the next session I started, started with that one tab. I don't know if that's still and issue but the number of times I lost dozens of tabs that what was too damn high.

Strange, I never really had that issue with pop ups, maybe it's due to the addon "Popup Blocker (strict)" I'm using.
But yeah finding stuff is a huge hassle and if you accidentally open a link normally and it sends you to the very end of the tabs, it's fun to find your way back.

How can RAM be a problem, at the moment i'm only using 10 GB out of 32 GB with 9 tabs open, and 7 programs running

I use an old PC for "my moments". It's quite dated, so it often struggles

Hmm, I have a hole Notebook just for this stuff here.
So, I don´t need more tabs.

I don´t mix accounts with this here.
Normal world things I do on Tablet and Smartphone...
But there I also don´t have many tabs open.
Don´t like it.
But I don´t work with computer...
