Most people are lurkers when they don't have anything to actually talk about (or, well, too embarrassed to). Being forced to farm comments doesn't really change that. If people don't have interesting games to talk about, they just won't talk about them.

Can we narrow it a bit? What KIND of cheese? Cheddar, Cream, Brie, Gouda, or the less appealing (to me at least) types such as cottage, camembert, or fumunda?

Cottage cheese just feels funny in my mouth, the texture is like milk left in a car in the summer. The others... the smell. If it smells that bad it never makes it into my mouth (women are included in that).

Rarely does the lurkers get out of their dark little corners but here they are compelled to, the interesting part is that a lot of them, including me, take this chance of interaction to talk about how hard it is to get out of their lurking ways. I would like to see some data on how this ends up going. How many will continue to post even though they have reached their goal? Will they also stop lurking in other places?

I will, after some initial shock, make an attempt at being more active in various forums.

I feel like I missed something, haven't been on for a few weeks and suddenly like 90% of my watched threads have vanished.
