I think the craft mechanic is broken. You can craft unlimited amount of product als long as you have logs. But you can just one time get in forest and get log.

It depends on how much energy you have left. If you've already been to the sawmill a few times, energy is deducted each time, and when it runs out, you can't go back into the forest.

Thanks! I know the development is a little slow. I still have a regular job where I work around 10 hours a day, and I develop The Murphys entirely in my free time.
I also don't want to rush the game just to release updates faster. I'd rather take my time with the story and the renders and make each chapter the way I want it to be. I'm glad you're giving it some more time, and I hope you'll enjoy where the story goes.
