In honor of Slumster's new position on the site I present the newest exhibit in the zoo:

The Danish Gigantisk Tudse

The Gigantisk Tudse (Giant Toad) is one of Denmark’s most fascinating and fearsome creatures. Native to the deep, misty marshlands of Jutland, this enormous amphibian can grow to the size of a small house, with warty, moss-covered skin and glowing red eyes. In folklore, the Tudse is known for its aggressive nature, fiercely guarding its territory and capable of unleashing a toxic croak that can stun anyone who dares to approach.

However, not all Gigantisk Tudse are as fierce as their reputation suggests. Legend tells of Bonky the Peacemaker, a kind-hearted villager who, through his calming music, managed to pacify even the most fearsome Tudse. His peaceful influence turned the creature from a terrifying menace into a gentle guardian of the marshes.

Today, the Gigantisk Tudse is a symbol of both strength and redemption, reminding us of the power of patience, kindness, and the surprising connections that can form between humans and nature.

Fun Fact: The Tudse’s croak can be heard up to 3 kilometers away in the wild — but don’t worry, here at the zoo, it's all calm and peaceful!

I didn't get an appearance yet. Not here as much as some, but been more regularly lately. I mean the big thread, not this particular one.

The Red Butt Philippine Baboon. These baboons are omnivorous and will eat just about anything edible,
but their favorite food is spicy food and they have a love for chili beans.

The second one is easy enough. At first I thought the first one had a wolf in it for some reason....

Two more, but not mimebras - mimeguines and lemimes. ;)
