Bro's a pussy for abandoning his games 😂
No. Seath is a fucking champ for actually fighting through. Dude got booted off patreom, F95, Substar, Fansly and also had his discord threatened. He did a lot of things to keep fighting on and deserves respect.

Although going for a fanbox funded vanilla game is... not the best way to go.

In a way he is as he's rebranding under a different name and there will be no questionable content in the new game.

Similar to another developer who doesn't want to be named that went vanilla.

@fallendarkstar thanks for the double post since I already shared the discord update. Yours was just better formatted.
Sorry, I didnt notice. I was just posting in each of his threads at the same time. A sad day, still...

Maybe Seath really makes up his mind. Maybe he finds a solution :/
One can hope honestly.
But let me clear up a doubt, maybe it’s a silly question, but just to be sure: if the problem is the third-party sites where he makes money, why doesn’t he create his own website, with payments going directly to him?

God fucking dammit, why does this keep fucking happening to my favourite games !!! Well fuck I hope he comes back to the Lost Guardian game at some point, also did he solely rely on making AVNs as the only source of income or what? Whats up with devs abbondening their game first chance they stop getting gibs?

That's straight up a wrap for the western scene of these kinds of games.

the first line of the message literally says he cancelled all games and stopped all development, hopefully they come back after fixing their issue or at least donate their assets for someone else to continue their work, sadly, their strength was their writing and that cannot be donated...

my bad: just looked into it a little more, yeah they will keep working on a game, a non loli game they were making, sorry for being so stupid, I just took my meds
also, weren't they a full team??? never went too deep in their enviroment, but in their 4th breaking scenes they show the whole team, did all of them quit or just Seath is gone?
Seath was basically the showrunner so in essence all of them quit because no money means no way to pay them and it's not like he can subsidize this with his day job paycheck, last I heard this was his day job. For now Simon supposedly is working on their own site (hopefully self hosted as well if it actually goes live to avoid giving some 3rd party host the opportunity to be a dick too) with Solana crypto payments to finally solve the censorship bullshit, which should have been the main plan from the start after the SS debacle with Fansly as just a temp stop gap. Had that happened instead of putting a pin in that (it was worked on for a couple months after SS then stopped) Fansly's bullshit wouldn't matter as much by now.

I'm sure I'm not the only one that told him to use 2 different dev names, 1 new one for the front and BHG with their own site for the lolis, as people seldom listen to just my suggestions. So we can hold off on his AVN toe tags for now (prob the usual 18-month rule still applies). Only thing I would have done different is not even suggest they are the same rl person anywhere online, as the usual snitch bitches do know how to use Google and get a + membership here.

Pretty much. He got booted off majority of sites. Making his own sites would make him way too exposed as everything would be tied to his own bank details. Much easier to target him. Also depending how its done, its more likely for it to be one-off transaction rather than subscription.

Then don't use his own bank details and use those of other family member or trusted friends instead, simple solution. But no need for banks at all really. How do you think the real c p is still sold? Mostly their self-hosted own sites where no banks are involved at all. All you need is a crypto exchange that doesn't care about KYC laws, and there's still plenty of those found even with just ordinary Google searches. You send them cash via regular mail they send you a usb stick with the crypto wallet on it, minus their fees. I would be suprised if drug dealers don't sell these on every other street corner by now as well as a side hustle.

I have no idea how it's sold, neither I want to ever know.
We're here talking more about consistent income per month. Not one or two transactions from people. That's usually what fuels game devs. No dev is going to be accepting crypto as form of monthly support unless they have some kind of a sugar daddy who hooks them up each time.
Most the real income for artists comes from people subbing for 5-10$ and letting automatic payments do their thing while they here and there check.

I genuinely think best approach is to have a dummy account with a dummy game. Which collects the income for the actual projects. Sadly, I guess its too late for that unless he really has someone who's willing to take a risk and give Seath his own bank details for patreon/substar.

Even the dummy method is on borrowed time as it prob won't be too long before every pay platform adopts Paypal's and Youtube's TOS; no porn of any sort allowed. Really I'm surprised they haven't done so already. And who seriously pays for art that is not porn? Almost no one, unless it's to launder the money used to buy it or as a way to hide it from the IRS, and those certainly are not monthly payments or subs. And this is exactly why crypto was invented in the first place and in the long term will be the only way to keep how people are allowed to spend their own money in their own hands regardless of higher fees or lack of instant gratification.

crypto is not the only way either, you can just walk down the street to Chinatown and setup a Alipay.

OR you can always do thing in most old-school method.
setup a post box, have people send you nickels / giftcard etc.

Prohibition Era method, but you are back to work.

you need ID for a P.O. box + everyone has cameras these days.
unlike in the old-school method

unsure what alipay is but you are heavily tracked by the Chinese.

let me guess, you have to pay to vote ???

well lets hope he focus on making the lost guardian, pretty much the best game in the series, the rest can be put on hold tbh
Never liked Blackhearts thing and hope he forget about it, Personnal assistant was good but I felt the entire thing of Marshal falling into a coma AGAIN to timeskip is overused and rushed, Dire Desire is fine actually, I hope he focus on it after TLG, and TLG, a game I deeply love and wouldnt mind if he took more time into it and not rush the ending or something
