I started a new game to play the new update because I didn’t remember much and I have a problem. I allow Darla to be bi in prison but her scene with her prison bitches didn’t trigger. Anyone knows why?

I actually have no problem with the minigames, they are actually very easy to play, and they give you a sense of challenge and reward, hardest on so far was the code puzzle but its not a big deal

Once upon a time this used to be a good game, but then the Dev decided to put a mini game everywhere, and shit like the password, or scenes that autoplay for several minutes without any way to advance them and stuff like that and ruined it

Same lol, but than I realised that 3>1 and 2<1 are the opposite of 3<1 and 1>2 so the answer would been 4-5, the game realise on some silly puzzles where the answer is simple but you cant see it lol

This is just speculation but I think it will matter in the next chapter if you decided to start a war with the Lynch family, I would assume that she get attacked and if she was on her sleeping pills she'll get killed so I took them, same thing with that choice where you find a gun in Savanna's house

Well im at a loss.

Even after deleting the save folder, deleting the game and 're-installing', the replay unlocker still wont work.

Don't know if you figured it out but I started the game itself and just kind of played through it normally and eventually when i went back to the main menu and checked the gallery everything was currently available. Hope that helps.

I don't know if I'm the only one this happens to, but the game has some problems when it comes to the story. I chose the options at the beginning based on how I played the first part, but many times the sequel ignores those decisions. The ones I've encountered so far are these:

• I left Roland alive, but Odessa has the conversations as if I had killed him, and that's why her scene doesn't start.
• I treated Darla well, but sometimes in the dialogues the game acts as if you abused her. Also, I chose for her to be bi in prison, but her scene with the prison girls doesn't start.
• I chose that Darla didn't do anything with Ariel, but in this latest update, Ariel has told me that Darla touches her sometimes. Really?

These are the ones I can think of right now, but I'm sure I'm leaving some out. Personally, it completely takes me out of the story because it isn't consistent with what I choose. The canon story is supposed to be the one you choose, as the developer reminds us many times whenever there is a decision, but if the game itself doesn't respect what you've decided to do, what's the point?

last update has been a bit disappointing in my opinion. i like the other blackheart games but this one goes into a direction that i dont like. too many puzzels and games. i also dont like that there are soooooo many different paths and outcomes for every scene. for example the asian girl that you encounter when sneeking around with ravyn. who needs 10 different outcomes for this??? give me a love/dark/sleep path thats enough for me. i prefered the more linear approach of the other games like tg, pa and swp. i usually dont play scenes multiple times to get every possible outcome so i feel that i miss a lot of content in this game.
apart from this its a good game. models and overall renders are nice, story is a bit all over the place but i guess thats understandable considering the number of daughters.

darla+prison girls scene didnt trigger for me either. i chose treated her bad in tg, bi in prison and fooling around with ariel.

I can't play chapter 4.

I'm using JoiPlay (last version) and I have downloaded the compressed and non compressed versions twice. The game keeps giving me unlimited errors. I can enter the main menu but as soon as I start the story every image is followed by an error. Gallery/Replay unlocker doesn't work, none of them.

Fully agreed. I don't mind the minigames that much, some are kind of fun, but the main problem I have with them is that they make it annoying to do a second (ctrl/tab) playthrough.

One of the great things about Renpy is that it is really easy and quick to skip to the meaningful choices to correct mistakes made in the past or to choose a different path when trying to collect missing scenes etc. But the minigames spoil that functionality. I think there is an option to skip them in most cases though.

Creating a save at important choices is an alternative but those are not always compatible through different versions.

Wow, after reading the past few pages....
Seems like 90% of the player base HATES those stupid, fucking, retarded, useless, play time expanding, minigames!
The normal unlockers dont work. most likely fully on purpose.
and THATS what people spend money on?
I can wait....a year....or 2. Until the games i want, get actually updated. This isnt it.. Maybe thats why i wont waste a buck for THIS kinda BS.
Any ETA for their "other", actuall, worthwhile, games?

Nevermind I figured out why I got this error. My last save file was made on the very last screen of chapter 3, which doesn't exist anymore. My mistake, I should've went back one screen and made the save there oh well. I just loaded my second to last save and it worked fine.
