It's honestly just confusingly explained. The "riddle" is asking which of the names is the killer. You look at the names on the graves and see which of the names matches the what should be the killer in the riddle, and give *that*. But the way the riddle is written makes it seem like it's looking for something far more complicated, which makes it seem super difficult rather than super easy.
I put Freddy Krugger and it said it was wrong. The garage one was too difficult too. Got to the car and was completely lost.

That's exactly it, it wasn't looking for *Freddy* Krugger. All the info it wanted was *explicitly* given to you in the game. It just wanted "Krugger", the name on the grave that the riddle indicated was the name of the killer. But I think that's part of the issue, it seems like people are overthinking these puzzles, expecting something more complex, when they're actually exceptionally basic, almost *too* basic to the point that people are missing the obvious.

That is another thing I don't understand. Why would anyone play a visual novel if they don't read/skip the text?
What really gets me are the people who do this, and then complain about updates being "too short". Like, an update that has two or more hours worth of content in it, and almost immediately after it's released, you'll see someone who skipped through the whole thing just to get to the sex scenes complaining that "we had to wait this long and the update is only 15 minutes" or something like that, and then you play it, and it takes you 2-4 hours to get through while actually reading everything, and you can only think this person either skipped everything, or is a goddamned speed reader.. Like, sure, they're almost certainly just a troll, but it's hard to tell if they might actually be serious.

Except there WAS another grave with "Freddy" and another with a girls name. I know now just to skip any minigames. Minigames always are bad.

ye the minigames are not good in this one. i don't hate that they are there but they need to be improved.
i don't fully remember but the first one was the
headlight one.
I instantly knew the answer.
i typed Light. that was wrong so i typed flashlight. that was also wrong. so i was like wth. i tried moonlight, sunlight moon, sun and probably more. and then i had to go here to look up the anwser
if you take content away for getting it wrong and bully people for skipping its just bad i think.
the freddy krueger one i got wrong because i spelt it wrong right.
i know if i had gone back and looked again i would have seen the spelling. but i saw Freddy Krugger and thought Freddy krueger. so my bad on that. i know names and product names gets changed in this types of games so that fine.
i think several right answers should be there as you have to be spesific. or just a A, B or C option would be best imho.

that said. i love the game. this and the previous one are top tier. but the minigames can be frustrating

I had to ask one of the girls for the answer at the car (and other places in that one.) Unfortunately, that wasn't and option at the end or in the graveyard one. The hints need to be way better and spelling shouldn't count. Be better as multiple choice or such.

Becky, Penny, Lisa, Vicky, Sally, Ingrid, Kimmie, Connie and Dawn ...

But that's the thing, the wording of the riddle made it clear that Freddy and the girl were the kids that got killed, so the only name left - Krugger - must be the killer, which was the only name it was asking for. Unfortunately, it was a little too "artsy" with how the riddle was worded. And I do agree that having Freddy be one of the names when your killer's name is Krugger (and including your character actually referencing Nightmare on Elm Street) was probably the wrong choice, which certainly didn't help. But it's definitely still an issue of people overcomplicating things.

Probably should have given better instructions, like noting the answer should be one word.

But I do think that as time goes on, having minigames be centered on you typing answers in are probably not the ideal choice, because clearly people are finding that less fun. I think the gas chamber one with Raevyn was probably a bit too far the other way, super simple and not much to do. The one with Lola was interesting in concept and was easy, but again, the need to type everything to get through the puzzle will probably frustrate a lot of people, although it did have the fun interactions as well.

Realistically, I think the minigames just need to have better explanations and implementations if they're going to have rewards, or they need to be entirely skippable - with no consequences - if they're going to be kept as just fun additions for people who enjoy them.

except there are some sexy scenes IN the mini games. Like with this one, there was sex with Erica and a BJ from Lola (or whatever you decided to name her) that you miss if you skip the mini game. And, if you didn't get help from anyone in the escape room in Ch. 1, you miss out on some scenes in Ch. 2. Recommendation, don't pussy out and skip mini games.

Also a legitimately wholesome scene with Raevyn in hers that honestly feels like a real breakthrough, and I felt like I had to ensure was part of my run given I'm on the loving path.

The minigames seem to contain stuff worth playing them for, but I can certainly understand why people can be frustrated with them, so I do hope Seath finds a way to fine tune them over time and makes them a little more intuitive. Though I'm sure eventually some fine mod creator will come along with a "minigame walkthrough mod" or something that just has the answers for the games so you can still see all the content without having to actually think.

Only if you were able to get past the one in the graveyard or the part at the car in the 1st one, which I was not. Minigames should be skippable without losing anything.

Wait how? You literally just have to read the text. English is not even my first language and I thought the mini games were super easy.

It was made very confusing.

It was made cryptic, not confusing. and that was the point of the mini-game... you have to put even the tiniest bit of thought into it. Again, if someone is playing e Blackheart game just for the fap material, they're playing the wrong games. BHG are story focused games that happen to have sex in them. They are made primarily to tell the story. and the mini-games are part of that story.

There weren't minigames in TG. Minigames are a bad thing. They should always be skippable with no penalty. I still have no clue what would have gotten the car in the other one to work. The graveyard one was intentionally made confusing given the name of the movie character was similar AND there was a grave marked "Freddy."
TBH there should be an option at the beginning to either turn them off or lower the difficulty.

except that clue was given at the beginning before you even started exploring the graves that the answer was one word... not BHG fault you decided to ignore that.

Great!...
More bullshit mini games? More shitty game content that i have to use my brains on, OR i am gonna miss scenes?
GREAT! .... iam gonna wait for a FULL version with unlocked gallery.
I play Loli/smol games exactly for that....for the smols content. not that iam gonna waste 20+ minutes of my time till i solve some riddles!

No offense...i didnt even wasted my time with 0.2.... i wanna FAP! .... not waste my time doing stupid bullshit that YOU think is neccarry. Or FUN
Keep your "mini games" to yourself., we all wanna fap? Who the fuck is gonna pay for this BS ?

Like i said...loved The Guardian....but this one? No, thanks. If i wanted to play an actual "RPG WITH PUZZLE ELEMENTS" .... i play something else.
