Tends to happen when Patreon does the predictable and bans them. If I was trying to make money from an AVN or porno game there's no way in hell Patreon would be part of that equation. More likely I'd learn Unity and just make a regular non-porn game and drop it on Steam if money was the main goal.

There's really no reason to. Everything Ketzal does other than 4k sets ends up public eventually anyway. Other than that it's just a demo, no sex scenes yet, just a few character intros and background story. Yup, might as well not bother with Patreon or even try to make an AVN at all if you are stuck with them and also want money. The Catch-22 is as a rule of thumb if there's enough people that are willing to pay for it then it's not allowed on Patreon and if Patreon allows it then it's not worth giving money to like any other generic porn free everywhere else, and as a bonus not only free but also mostly uses real actors, at least the older stuff until all the newest is all AI-made. People serious about making an AVN these days that isn't basically the same shit as everyone else are pretty much stuck also making and hosting their own website and linking that in the OP's of every other site allowing links to it like here along with links to their crypto wallet and bank account numbers for a tip jar. Or doing double work and making a fake front project to subsidize the real one like Ketzal now does.
Because it hasn't been 1 year and 6 months yet? That's my guess, even though it's kinda obvious the dev lost his enthusiasm after getting kicked off Patreon and the $181 worth of morons still subbed on SS are not enough for them. Also guessing Steam kicked their plans to the curb there as well because of the loli, even though she's never fucked so it was a waste of a model.
- i mark games as abandoned at 1.1 year. Personally for myself. Projects that take longer to update are clearly milking their subs, or are personal passion projects of their author, who in turn isnt relying on donations and just makes game for themself. But both cases are rare ( second one is especially super mega rare ) and as such are exceptions.
i personally kinda like the theme(and the smols), played the game a little over a year back. but after the game broke when investigating the toilets, i reached out to the dev and got told i should sub to their patreon for a "fixed" version, and called the one on 95z an "unofficially modded" version. which is fair, but i think they were in the midst of the crackdown so i don't wanna raise any flags by subbing, that is, if i could.
i joined their discord to mingle but left shortly bcs it was filled with those crypto spam/scam accounts. i don't think the staff members care anymore bcs the development is basically out the window with their funding gone.
a shame honestly, it has the potential to be one of the better loli/smol games, but it seems like any traces of smols has been purged since it says coming soon to steam and iris is now 19 y.o. based on the previews on there. sad to say i have very little to no interest in the game left but it is what it is. at least the dev is making like $200 on SS.
