New Status and Teaser
This week, Charlotte stops by to grace us with her presence and help me share the latest status with you.
I had a good week. However, it was not as VN focused as I hoped, but I'll get to that later. As for numbers, I completed 80 renders and 1 animation. This brings the total count to 463 renders and 6 animations. I also completed a few new songs for chapter 3 and made more progress on the dialog for chapters 4 and 5.
Side projects: Not a lot to report other than I have the September calendar ready for you all tomorrow. Hopefully, you will like the choice.
Personal stuff: Some progress was made, but still the contractor is way behind schedule here. Aunite Loca is not happy about it, which is impacting my development work, but not a lot yet.
New PC update: Well, with some help from a fan on Discord, I was able to complete my new PC build. Still more work is needed to get the PC ready to render, though. This week I hope to finish installing all the programs I need for it. I also have one last item coming for the upgrade, and that will be the new primary asset drive for DAZ Studio. If anyone is interested, I can post the full specs of the new PC here next week. Otherwise, it will be posted on my Discord either this week or next.

This week, Paige decided to stop by to help with the status update.
Well, I had a really good week with progress. I completed 100 renders and 2 animations. This brings the total count to 563 renders and 8 animations. I hope to continue this progress into next week too.
Side Projects: Nothing really going on at the moment. I will just have the monthly calendar to start later this month, as well as the Ward tier image. Outside of that, I have no other side projects to discuss.
Personal stuff: Still having some issues getting our contractor to finish up at the house. I really hope the end is near so I can get my house back to normal again. Other than this, not much else to talk about.
PC Upgrade: I spent some time and started installing software needed for the new PC. I also got the 4TB m.2 drive for assets and renders. I will be transferring all assets to the new PC after chapter 3 is completed. Now this will impact one other thing, and that is Ren'Py. I need to update to the latest Ren'Py software finally. I am not sure if that will impact much, but I wanted you all to have a heads-up.
The List fantasy football league: The draft was held last week, and the NFL season begins soon. I'm not sure if anyone other than those involved in the league is interested, but I can provide weekly status updates going forward if there is interest.

This week, Ellie decided to pop in to help with the status update. Wait, is she hiding? Naked hide-and-seek? Are the original twins and TKA back?
I had a strong week; the one animation I was working on didn't meet expectations, so I can't count it. Anyways, this week I completed 120 renders and 0 animations. This brings the total count to 683 renders and 8 animations. Chapter 3 is quite large, and I decided to add a major plot point last minute. I think it is a really cool twist and fixes an issue that had been bugging me. I have been trying to figure out how to correct it for a while, and a good idea finally hit. I did have to run it past someone else to make sure it felt right and potentially fixed the issues.
It looks like I have about 14 scenes remaining, most of which are on the larger side. I don't foresee any issues with 13 of the remaining 14 scenes, so that is a good thing. It's just that 1 scene is causing problems. Hopefully I can figure it out this week or next, as this is one of the important scenes and a much larger scene that impacts 8 different characters.
Personal stuff: Still waiting on this contractor to wrap stuff up at the house. It is getting annoying, but the end is almost here; I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. We did add another smaller project, but it is with a different contractor and one that is a 1-day project.
Side Projects: Not much is going on right now; the update is the main focus, but at some point I will need to look at the Ward tier render and the October calendar. I am also taking suggestions for the Halloween render. It will be like the last few years, where I dress up characters of The List Saga as characters from other Visual Novels. I would like to keep it to characters from VN's that I have already promoted, but I am willing to do one from a game that I have not as of yet promoted.
The List Saga Fantasy Football League: Week one is underway and will be wrapping up later tonight. It's a smaller league with only six teams, but the winner gets a custom render from me, so I thought it would be fun to keep you all posted.

Sorry, I am a little delayed on this one.

This week, Omalora returns to assist with the status. She is preparing to portal you back to The Journey, but not quite yet; there is still work to be done.
Let's talk numbers. This week I completed 98 renders and 0 animations; well, it should have been 1 animation, but the power was knocked out during the rendering. Anyways, the total count is now 781 renders and 8 animations. I am getting closer to wrapping up chapter 3, I have 7 scenes remaining, more like 6 and 1/2. The good news is I finally got the problem fixed on the scene I am working on now. It has been an issue for weeks.
Side Projects: I will be working on the Ward tier render this week. I am still deciding on the calendar girl, but I want to sneak that in this week too.
Personal stuff: There is an end in sight for the contracting work. They have one smaller part to finish, which should hopefully be done this week, and then also some minor touch-ups. Painters can hopefully come back soon, and then my house can go back to normal.
Fantasy Football league: I lost last week and am 0-1 for the season. I'm sitting in fourth place at the moment. Current standings: I'm Already Dead, Madison's Marauders, Alexis's Red Zone Security, Kelly's Ball Busters (that's me), Cassie's Skull Crushers, and D's Daring Team round it out. The winner of the league gets a custom render from me.
