This week, Sylvia stops by to say hello and help me with the status update.

Number, so I had an ok week. I was hoping for a stronger week, but some tech issues had other plans. I lost all the work I did on Saturday this week, and it had to be redone and re-rendered. Not happy about that, but it is what it is. With that said, I completed 73 renders and 1 animation. This brings the total count to 767 renders and 4 animations. I did a quick check, and I have approximately 12 more scenes to render, 5 large scenes, and the rest are mid-size to small. Still a ways to go, and with a holiday coming up this week, I may lose a day or two of render time.

Side projects: Nothing to take up time for a while, so it is full focus on the update.

Personal stuff: Things are a mess here. I might lose power here and there, so the animations I was planning to run this week may have to wait until next week. Animations take me 8-14 hours each, so I have to plan to run them at the right time, or I lose everything.

Not much else I can share at the moment, so bye for now.

Just out of curiosity because I don't really know much about the game development side, but I do know a bit about Daz, do you not render your animations as an image series? I know it adds the extra step to compile into video afterwards but I always saw the benefit of being able to restart the render from the last completed frame, in case of a power failure or PC crash as being worth it.

I did that for the animations in chapter 1 of my first game (The List). It looked horrible, so now I render them as an animation in Daz.

Happy 4th of July, all or happy Saturday for everyone not in the US.

This week, one of the most unique characters stops by to help me with the status. Omalora is ready to teleport you to the world of The List Saga, but I told her not just yet.

So I had a strong week despite the US Holiday and not feeling well on Sunday. I completed 120 renders and 0 animations. Which brings the total count to 887 renders and 4 animations. In addition to this, I completed all the storyline scenes. I just have 4 special scenes left to render. My goal is to complete 2-3 of those scenes this week, along with the remaining animations needed.

I added a scene to the story this week that I have gone back and forth on for a while. I feel I made the right choice, but I am looking forward to the feedback on that specific scene once the full update is ready. I will also start coding this week as well for the scene I completed and start compiling the additional music needed for chapter 2. It sounds like a lot, but I am excited to start working on it all.

Side projects: If you haven't seen it, check out the July 4th custom render. I felt Freya and Gabi needed some love. Outside of that, it is all-out render work for chapter 2.

Personal stuff: Not much to say other than I am not feeling well, and construction work starts back up this week at the house. God, I can't wait for these projects to wrap up so life can go back to normal here.

I think that is all I have to say this week. Bye for now.

This week, Cleo stops by to say hello and tells me I need to work harder.

This week was a productive week, even though the numbers may not seem that way. I completed about 1/2 the coding for chapter 2, created several new songs needed, in addition to the renders and animations.

So, for actual numbers, I completed 68 renders and 3 animations. This brings the total count to 955 renders and 7 animations. I have 1 animation left to render, which will be done this week, and about 60-90 more renders, which I also think should be done this week as well. Only two scenes remain, and the update is done. The goal is to get the update to the test team this week.

One of the big holdups this week was not being able to run animations, as I wasn't sure when the electrician would come to shut off the power at my house. So they had to be run on Friday and Saturday (which are normally the biggest render days). Two of the animations took 7-8 hours each (which is standard), but the third one took 17 hours to render. I had several issues with that animation, but this is the only time the location will be used for an animation. Now I still have one more animation for that location for chapter 2, but I think I should be able to get that one in while I am in the office one day this week.

Side projects: Nothing to report as chapter 2 is the main focus.

Personal stuff: Still a mess with projects at my house, and unfortunately, no end in sight due to subcontractor delays. One day, things will go back to normal at my house, and I will get my workspace back to normal again.

Well, that is all I have for now. I'll be on Discord this week if you want to chat. Bye for now.

Chapter 2 has been released to the public; I updated the Mega link only. The mods will handle the others.

Have fun, and please make sure to use spoilers to discuss the update.

Also, if you wouldn't mind, I would love to hear feedback on the music and sound effects (no lewd sound effects, sorry).

Music was great, especially during the fight, helped take your mind off the fact that you're just going through still images, it would be so nice if doing animations in Daz were a bit friendlier.
I'm just really looking forward to getting to the point where the MC finds out about
his daughter and that she is Alexis reborn

All three games are not bad but as I wrote on F-95 I'm not a fan of the father, or how the LI keeps the child away.

Thanks for the positive feedback and comments. I spent a lot of time trying to get the music right for the scenes.

As for your spoiler comment. Rob will meet his daughters at some point. Technically, he has had a lot of interactions (granted, off-screen) with Isabel. As for Amanda, this was an idea I was tossing around a lot. I finally decided to pull the trigger and bring Connie back and Amanda in. I am really looking forward to getting them both involved in the story going forward. Hopefully you enjoy their arcs. Rob Jr will be a completely different type of thing due to Alexis being involved, and her wishes are pretty important.

Yeah, I went a little overboard with Sam, but I wanted to make the relationship rocky, and I think I did a good job with it. Also, each LI with a child has a different circumstance as to why they haven't let Rob know about the children. Gabi, if you're on her path, is being mind controlled by Nathan to not let Rob know about Isabel. Madison has had visions of what happens if Rob finds out about Rob jr and Alexis too early; that, and she has several others who are trying to keep it a secret due to their own visions. As for Connie and Amanda, there is more to their story, but the conversation with Cleo in chapter 2 starts to paint a picture.

Liking the list so far . have the other 2 on hold for now
Glad to hear you are enjoying it so far. I do suggest to play the list through chapter 12 then stop. Play the perfect town chapter 1, then go back and finish chapter 13 of the list. From there finish The Perfect Town and then start The Journey. It's the best way to play especially with what happens in chapter 12 of The List. It gets pretty crazy for sure.

Well, Kelly told me it's time to get back to work after taking a little bit of time off from the last release.

This week I had a solid week of production. I completed 120 renders and 2 animations. I should hopefully have another good week, but I'll talk more about that later.

Side projects: I released the August calendar last week, and realized I missed the Ward tier image for July. I will be doing two for August to make up for that. Hopefully one gets out this week. As always, if you are a Ward tier or higher member and have a suggestion for the images, please let me know.

Personal stuff: Well, I was able to enjoy my birthday over the weekend; it was nice to do some things with the family. Also made some more progress on the PC upgrade. I have the new case, the PSU, the primary M.2 drive, and the new GPU. I ordered the CPU cooler and the case fans; they should be here by Wednesday. Next up will be the Motherboard, CPU, and RAM. This week I'm taking some time off from my day job to refresh and go in for a small standard medical procedure. Nothing to worry about; it's more for monitoring an existing condition. The procedure is scheduled for Tuesday morning, so I might be a little silent. I'll check in with everyone as much as I can today and then back in once my procedure is done.

Well I think that is all I have to say for now. Talk to you all next week or on the Discord.

Madison stops by this week to help me discuss the status of Chapter 3.

This week I completed 82 renders and 1 animation, which brings the total count to 202 renders and 3 animations. I feel I am off to a good start considering everything that is going on at the moment. More on that later. I hope to have a solid week now that my vacation is over.

Personal stuff: Last week I was on vacation from my day job. I had a lot going on with a small medical procedure, construction, and painting all going on at the house. This all impacted work on the game. Everything should go back to normal this week, and I will be pushing myself to hit that 100 render mark again.

Side projects: I planned to get the past-due ward tier render in last week and just couldn't get around to it. I will do my best to get the July and August ones done this week. Outside of this, there are no other side projects going on.

PC Upgrade: If you have been on my Discord, I am sure you have heard I'm working on upgrading my PC. So I thought I would add the progress here in the weekly status for those who are not in my Discord. I have purchased and received my new PC case (Lian Li Lancool 207), CPU cooler (Noctua NH-D15 G2), and extra case fans (Noctua NF-A12x25 G2 PWM). In addition to that, I also have my GPU (Gigabyte Gaming OC 16GB RTX 5070 Ti), M.2 primary drive (1TB Samsung 9100 PRO). I will also be reusing all the M.2 drives in my current build as well, and the PSU (Corsair RM1000e). The Motherboard, CPU, and RAM are next on the list. I'm just waiting on a little more cash so I can purchase them all at the same time. More to come on this, maybe next week.

Well, I think that is all I have to share this week.

Lilith stops by, and she wants to tell you why she is in Rob's room, but I won't let her say yet. I'll give you a hint: it's not what you think.

Let's jump right into numbers. I had a great week; I completed 100 renders and 1 animation, which brings the total count to 302 renders and 4 animations so far. I have hinted that this will be one of the longest chapters for The Journey, as it is the calm before the real story starts kicking in. I also created a few new songs for chapter 3 as well.

Side projects: I apologize, I still have not gotten around to the Ward tier renders yet, but I hope to work on them this week. I am planning to do both July and August soon. I also need to work on the monthly calendar for September soon too. So much to do and so little time to get it all in.

Personal stuff: Construction continues at my house; hopefully the main parts wrap up this week, as our contractor is now 2 weeks behind schedule. I also have a busy weekend coming up, which may impact render count for next week, as I will be going to 2 events with my son this weekend.

PC Upgrade status: Nothing new to report, as I was not able to order anything new for the PC build this week. Hopefully, I am able to get the funds this week that I thought I was getting last week.

One last thing to discuss. We are planning a List Saga Fantasy Football league (free, no cost to join) this year. If you are interested in joining, make sure you get on the Discord and let us know in General chat or the Fantasy league chat. Currently, we have 4-6 openings in the league. The top prize is a custom render with up to 3 characters from The List Saga (anyone who has appeared in any of the 3 games). If I win, I will randomly select a winner of the prize to keep it fair.

Well, I think that is all I have to say for now. If I don't see you on Discord, I'll talk to you next week. Bye for now.

With open arms, our favorite maid, Gabi, drops by to help me discuss this week's status.

Let's jump straight into numbers, as there is a lot to discuss this week. I was able to complete 81 renders and 1 animation this week. This brings the total count for chapter 3 to 383 renders and 5 animations. Another solid week for me. I did have a pretty major issue with one of the key scenes for chapter 3. I spent a lot of time failing to get a scene to work correctly; the images are still too grainy. This caused me to end up skipping the scene and moving on to the next one while I look for some solutions to the issues. Hopefully, I can fix the scene this week or next; otherwise. I have a lot of work to find a new location.

Side Projects: I have completed and published the Ward tier reward for July and August. I also have the September calendar image rendered. I am glad I finally feel caught up on both of these items.

Personal stuff: Ugh! Well, the contractor was here over the weekend discussing the status. We don't have an end date yet, but hopefully it won't be more than a few weeks. I feel like Auntie Loca is on her last thread and is about to snap. Pray for me.

Computer Upgrade status: I believe I have all the parts needed for the new build now. This week I got my motherboard, CPU, and RAM. Motherboard: GIGABYTE X870E AERO X3D. CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D - Ryzen 9 9000 Series. RAM: G.SKILL Flare X5 64GB (2 x 32GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR5 6000. I hope to start the actual build sometime this week.

The List Saga Fantasy Football league: Still room for a few teams if anyone is interested. Just jump on the Discord and let us know. The League is 100% free and is just for fun. I will be putting up a custom render for the winner of the league, and if I win, I will give the custom render to one of the other league members.

Outside of this, I don't have much else to say. I'll see you on Discord or talk with you here next week. Bye for now.
