Thanks. I hate being a whiny bitch, I know I am, but imho, if you havent ever supported me, and you play my finished game in its entirety and DIDNT support me what so ever, your opinion is shit. At no point did you help me make my game, so idgaf about those people. I make my games for the people who want my themes. Yes, TG ending wasnt happy. THATS the point. He didnt deserve to be happy. MC was a shit father, but gave up his life to PROTECT them. But whatever. I bust my ass, 14 hours a day,, and it gets to me sometimes that people want want want, but never give. Done with those people. I'd rather lose money, than have those people near my games.

There seems to be people who can't stand when the MC of a game is broken or imperfect. What is even stranger is that some people seem to react like you are insulting them by not having a character as superman as they want. I have never been personally offended by a character, so I just don't get it.

The Guardian ending felt very Chinatown. The MC knew he was a shit father for leaving, but he did it again anyway. He grew as a person but ended up basically where he began. I can see why people looking for a Disney family harem ending were disappointed, but the game never hinted that MC would get to live happily ever after. Besides the new daughters, I can't wait to see how the plot progresses with the therapist in the sequel.

Yeah, exactly. Marcus was a shit dad. Yes, he grew as a person, and a father, and he gave up that life to protect them. Happy ending or not, what he gave up was a happy life to make sure they had a good life. That's a good ending in my opinion. Plus, it clearly leads into another game. A game with a more family focus. And that is all explained in the game. Never understood the "a want happy" all the time but doing shit that doesn't make others happy. But whatever. TG2 will be better in those regards, bc I do think Marcus deserves a second chance.

One regretful thing I have about the story was with Sierra though. I was so hoping that there would be another scene with Sierra + Jane + MC.

I am super excited. Especially at a prospect of the generational incest. That's something that's quite rare.
You can't imagine how hard it is to find a game or doujin that has it.
Very curious how the incest with the daughters is going to be handled because Marcus had a lot of time to corrupt them.
Quite hoping that there would be some flashbacks or something similar to what was in Personal Assistant DLC!

It has nothing to do with the dark themes, but rather with the lack of consistency and clear vision in the writing. The whole plot looks like it is composed on the go, without clear preliminary plan, with the only aim to amuse and confuse the gamer/reader by adding all sorts of possible tropes and plot twists, to the point when the gamer/reader just stops caring about the plot and the characters.

I'm actually all for the adding of characters from other games. It neatly ties up the whole universe Seath tries to establish and teases the games. Quite frankly, I think it's smart.
As for plots and twists. While I don't see the entire vision of what the developer has in mind, there were... some that didn't settle well with me and considered them already unnecessary. Like the scene with Marge and Lillith origin.
Neat part is that even if you stop caring much or the general plot, you still have the nsfw scenes to look for. More so when quality loli related VNs are such a rare treat.

You didn't get my idea. I'm not against crossovers with other games, especially from the same Dev. It just has to be well justified by the plot logic.

That's why I don't want to be too harsh on the Seath's writing abilities ) Still, he needs to streamline his plots somehow. As of now, they are all very messy, without exception, due to artificial plot twists that feel alien.
The PA is the least affected by that, but still...
I hope in the next generation of the games this problem will be dealt with.

They are mad because its an asspull ending after a messy 2nd half of the game that felt like the story was just fly by the seat of the pants and not planned at all. It felt like the story had a proper place to end halfway through, and for some reason it just kept going and going and going.

But again, i want people to enjoy my games. If they dont, it sucks. I get it. But that said, TG2 will be more grounded. will remove the mafia parts mostly, and be a family drama/comedy more like the mid parts of TG1. So more down to earth family story I hope i can draw some of you back to that! Thanks guys!!!

Seath's games definitely deal with themes that are a little dark, but all things considered, the games aren't THAT dark. This game had plenty of funny/lighthearted moments. The ending was definitely not a happy ending, especially for my girl darla, you did her wrong @Seath Black . But this was more akin to the end of a season in a tv series and TG2 is the next season. The story will continue and we will probably get a happier ending when the story is fully completed.

If it took you 3 years to "think about supporting someone, I wouldnt want your money anyways. My first post on this forum (I think, unless I made one a long time ago) is about your game. I'm not sure how to feel about it. At different times I felt excitement, sadness, arousal, happiness, shame, and confusion. I've read some posts where people have said that they didn't like the story or whatever. I might be one of the few that would have still played it without the porn renders. At least I would have after I got hooked on the story. I don't even know what it was about the story that interested me. I'm going to go out on a limb and assume that you are inspired by David Lynch. If not David Lynch, it has to be someone inspired by David Lynch, or who inspired Lynch. I'm looking forward to the next chapter.
