Thanks, but I just tried again and it declined my card. It isn't the card, because I bought a meal and some other stuff with it today. No telling how many other people it's done this to and they just gave up.

For those having card issues with SS It's a pain, but you might have to contact the card company you are trying to use, as some will prevent it from going through as fraud protection. The number to call should be on the card and all that and once you get in contact with support on the phone they will ask you security stuff to make sure it's your card, and then you can say you tried to use x amount for a purchase, and you want it to go through, and you can even try while on the phone with them and see if things work. I know all this since had to deal with it myself for things lol.

I contacted Chase card services and they say they didn't get the requests. So it must be subscribestar that is rejecting this new account. I have several other patron accounts with them for other devs which pay just fine.

I wanted to play and enjoy the game, then support you because of the shit Patreon and SubStar are putting you through, but I just can't get into it. I can even see that it likely has a lot of potential.

I understand that it's probably better later on in the game since you made the decision to remove NTR, but the start is still really rough and unpleasant for me as someone who has negative interest in netorare/netorase in AVNs to care enough to get through it.

Most of the first few scenes are about the apparent primary LI, Lisa, wanting to fuck her boyfriend/ex-boyfriend Tony, the MC agreeing to help her fuck Tony, and the MC being aroused by the idea of her fucking Tony. If you don't plan on netorase or a sharing-with-men path for Lisa, the entire first few scenes desperately need to be rewritten. The MC gives off huge cuckold vibes during them, and Lisa just seems slutty and doiesn't seem to particularly care about the MC. Also, having the first three hints of lewdness be: a few peeping shots, a nip slip, and then a skippable (but not avoidable) other guy fingering Lisa (again, the apparent primary LI), was pretty discouraging. Hell, I stopped before the next lewd scene specifically because the MC told her to treat him like he was Tony, which I found distasteful enough that I gave up.

I may check back in again some time if those first few scenes get the rewrite they desperately need.

There are multiple good examples out there of better ways to handle the "LI dumped/at risk of being dumped because she wouldn't put out for boyfriend and MC consoles her" storyline. I can suggest some for comparison/review if wanted, but that's otherwise off-topic here.

Last I checked, yes, but there is likely a rewrite of the parts involving Lisa's ex-boyfriend coming, given the last couple posts from the dev. It's possible the rewrite also won't interest you, but I'm fairly confident you're used to that, given your particular tastes, heh.

The rewrite will have the girl shown above posted by Narrator, though some stuff about her appearance may change. She will be Lisa's girlfriend in a way now and things will be a lot different this time around when hopefully the rewrites are finished as even the Mom and Aunt's story will change though those I'm unsure of atm in what way, but Lisa's story will change so she isn't dating a guy anymore and the new girl is replacing the guy and their story is also being worked on, so stuff makes sense and so on. But from what I do know is since she's being added to the game she will be shown more often for everyone who likes seeing more girls lol.

From what I gather she might be lesbian at first and go bi later or be bi from the start but Mc still takes Lisa's virginity since Lisa hasn't used any sex toys and has never been with a guy as she will still be her curious self like before on sex where Mc still teachers her and is his way to get her to sleep with him in a way and that in a way makes her more submissive and want sex with him a lot more.

Here's a quick bugfix for v0.6 that prevents it from crashing when you reach the end of contents for the path you're on.

This only removes the Buymeacoffee and Boosty buttons from the end screen, since the button images themselves were removed (but the references to them were still in the code).

Place this file in the TheFiveStarStories_0.6-pc\game folder (Windows), replacing the file that's already there.

(I already posted this in the game's thread on the 95 site.)

Thanks for the fix! The dude doesn't have a discord (I PMed him to ask) and I thought I was gonna have to trash this nice game but your fix saved it from this fate.

I'm sure that can be made avoidable to not be seen like before, but they won't of used any sex toys on each other and Lisa doesn't own any lol, but pretty much like I said before and how it was before the rework. Personally, I do see it as an improvement. When a girl is into a guy and I have to watch the MC think it's hot, I cannot see it as anything but the MC wanting to be cucked. When a girl is into another girl and I have to watch the MC think it's hot, I don't mind because I don't disagree. I know you do, and that's why I said what I did. Also, the sister wouldn't be a lesbian, she'd be bi.

(Yes, I know it's a double standard. I don't really care. I have my reasons, and they satisfy me and my partners.)

The main reason for the change from having Lisa date a guy to her being with a girl now was to get rid of all the ntr type stuff related to her being with a guy. So no one has to see Lisa being touched by a guy unless it's going to be the Mc. And stuff with the new girl is still being worked out etc. So hard to tell where things will go with each character yet, but I'm sure Narrator will do a good job with the story.

Also, that was the main big reason why the rework is happening to get rid of all the ntr dialogue and images etc. And you could say the new lesbian or bi thing with Lisa was the best way to have a story there still at the beginning of the game and most likely the new girl will play a bigger roll going forward in the rewrite.

0.6 still has a lot of ntr sounding stuff at the beginning and missing images as it was a bit of a rushed version as Narrator started on stuff then had to take on a new job Irl as explained on Subscribestar, and they wanted to keep on schedule to get an update out to everyone so they put out what they did so far and more stuff will be worked on etc. when they have time.
