I don't really see tattoos any different than any other personalizing decoration. I'm not going to look down on a woman because she wears something other than grey sweats, or if she has a colorful phone case, or if she has a tattoo.

They say a tattoo is a red flag, I'd say if it's something in private places like the crotch-tattoo or butt/dimples it wouldn't matter, and those look hot.

Depends on the girl, depends on the tats. Don't like them on the throat, face or front of torso. If they do have them on the front, then I like them better if they're smaller, or confined to the area below the collar bone on the shoulder. or on the hip. Personality matters more, but I'm not really looking for a "painted lady", either.

Were you part of the Yakuza and have a fancy dragon or a Hannya mask on your back? Then I'm okay with it. Most tattoos are utter trash though and just such a red flag. Ink is not a good personality replacement.

I think it depends on the girl. You can't just randomly throw full body tats on a shy/quiet girl and call it a day. So when the character is properly developed tattoos make 100% sense, and without them the character would be incomplete.

It's got to be Art... and I don't mean crappy "This means something to me...!..." art.

I would say 10% (Or even less) of tattoos I've seen are attractive. But, when there is a truly good one, well I do appreciate it!

I love a blank canvas. on the other hand I really like this Japanese artist that tattoos pigs then turns their skins into actual artworks that you can in theory mount in your living room but I'd hate to explain to guests that the art piece hanging in my living room is not a human trophy that I skinned and had mounted.
