Oh yes, excellent potential ... but too much grind, really.Superpowered had the potential of being one of the best games out there if only the developer had exercised some planning and growth control at the begininning. I found that the only way that you could reasonably play the game was to use extensive cheats otherwise the grind would be unbearable. The other big problem was game time timing. There was virtually no way to complete all of the activities before the end of the school year. I think the amount of complexity overwhelmed the developer at the end and he rushed the ending.
The developer is working on Superpowered2 but progress is super slow due to his working on another project.
agreed, cheating/mods is necessary to just play the game (without resorting to endless clicking the same). It's a pity it went this way as I felt like it really was on to somethingOh yes, excellent potential ... but too much grind, really.
Even ith cheat it started to be too much effort.
The developer was overly ambitious and let it get away from him. Towards the end, the updates consisted of tryimg to complete content and bandaiding the program to keep it limping along. If a developer isn't already a program manager, (and yes there have been a few), the developer "team" needs to bring one onboard after the demo, (or beforehand if possible), storyboard the game and set limits as to what they want to achieve if they are going to ever complete the game and avoid snags.agreed, cheating/mods is necessary to just play the game (without resorting to endless clicking the same).
