Honest to god this game is almost ten years old, and I once thought it would be finished, Yet here we are with another remake.

I often wonder why it's so hard for certain developers to finish one single game? Are they just milking that sweet Patron money?

Is there any other possible reason? this game is still making bank.

It makes no sense for them to stop milking when they can get paid for next to nothing

The funny thing is that the version of the game being discussed here is no longer current. The current version is 21.0.0 wip.6440. The developer released it 20 hours after the release of version 64281. Since I am indifferent to this game, I will just give you the changelog:

Fixed save migrations for saves made prior to 21.0.0-wip.5252.
Added missing dialogue arm asset for Debbie while pregnant.
Repaired import chain that caused bad virtual screen size and broken rigs.
Fixed exception being thrown the first time Jenny's GFE event is played.

Thought the same thing, when this was popping up again.

Strange, it seems like I played it a long time ago, but looking at the version number, it seems I haven't really played this one.😵

I saw only one new scene with Debbie, absolutely no other scene added, am I right?

game development is dragged out but still pretty good

It's a bit disappointing how devs are doing "tech" updates instead of finishing their games. I'll be waiting 10 years to see a "full" game.

the most milked game of all time. it's good but might as well be dead with how slow the updates are

I downloaded the newest one and there’s only like a couple hours worth of content and it’s confusing asf

The nature of indie game development lends itself towards the visual-novel style, and I often find that a whole lot of the games that are posted and discussed tend to become pretty formulaic as a result. Summertime Saga is one of the games that plays as though it has more to it, and actually feels a bit like an actual game. Still very visual-novelly but it has its own hand-drawn charm. More immersive and feels like it has a lot more character.
