So this is a complete re-write? I'm still working on 20.11, and hoping I can get a version that allows my save states to work. But this looks like it's "updating" but only to, like, the 2nd original update?

i am both happy to see an update, sad to see it cut a lot for now, and cautiously hopeful he'll be able to stick with his 2 month promise now that the excuse of working on all teh under hte hood stuff is done. will be curious to see how much content he drops per update going forward

From now until February the wait for a true update and not reworks of the game will be long but it only remains to be seen if darkcookie will really comply with its schedule of updating every 2 months
