A fair bit into this new ch2 release and I have to say that I am not liking it as much as ch1. Seems to be even more slow burn, but not in the way that made ch1 interesting enough to read, more like, nonsense dialog for no apparent reason than to show off the writers ability to be clever, and yet, it's sooo not clever because it's not interesting. It doesn't do anything to move the story forward. It's idle swag chatter. I will continue to muddle through it, as the girls are still, well hot in some cases, and the overarching storyline might be interesting still? Not even sure about that tbh.

I saved 3 distinctly different play through options from season 1, and currently on my "cheeto" save path. As it turns out, whatever decision was made or finalized (it felt rather finalized when it was happening) at the end of ch1, is now sorta in this state of ambiguous limbo. The classic "not so fast pal" pull the rug out from under ya move that TV shows love to do. These things don't make me happy, lol.

Simple answer the plot has been remade to many times, and other changes have made the game one huge mess.

At this point it's not even what was envisioned when the developer first started his trilogy a decade ago.

We'll all be old by the time the MC gets his dick working, and the plot actually moves forward.

Sad news to hear though. I really did enjoy ch1. But as you inferred, there's still plenty of time to reel this thing back in from the abyss.

Nope, but the people obsessed with this game will have you believe that the extreme slow burn is the reason it is the best VN ever. I like games with slow burns when they are done well, but this game is progressing way too slowly. It feels like the dev is milking his supporters at this point.

Yeah, I can understand how you feel, it's a good AVN but it's too slow.
