I love the Adywan version of A New Hope. Lots of restored footage, looks great, and with a few added goodies that they couldn't make at the time. I'm sure it's not a purists cup of tea and that's fine, it's art, we can disagree. If you haven't seen it, look for it.

I liked that version. Especially, because I am a fan of the EU that is basically no longer canon. I still enjoy the original Trilogy the best, and purists make little sense these days, because the OG films have been edited and changed upon every release since they were in theaters.

In fact, I like Definitive Cuts of films that add back things like deleted scenes, TV/Broadcast Only scenes, and stuff from directors cuts and alternate endings and extended endings. Like Army of Darkness or Waterworld Ulysses Cut.

Another goodie is "Star Wars SC 38 Reimagined" on YouTube. What two master force users fighting should look like.
While I thought it was impressive at first, the Yoda fighting on "Attack of the Clones" I now find silly. Yoda moves so fast, he should have shredded his opponent, not just fought to a draw.

Isn't virtually every character a man in that show with the exception of the girl? Honestly I'm pretty tired of pretty much all of starwars since disney started running things and orange trainer is already one of the best starwars games out there.

I have his 720p edit of Empire I guess you could call it the preview of the final because he never did finish the 1080P blu ray version. Wish he had finished the edits before Disney. I want an edit without the Disney characters or Disney Lucasfilm logo. I can't tell him what to do, his edits.

I grew up on Star Wars. I went to see A New Hope in 1977 when my dad who was into sci-fi found out about it and took me with him to see it and from then on I was fucking hooked. Going to the movies back then was not simple as we lived way out in the sticks and it was a 45 minute drive to get to a theater or drive in.. Yeah they had drive in when I was a kid.
I have seen and own all of the movies and 90% of the cartoons and tv shows. The new stuff since Disney took over... Yea fuck Disney they ruined a lot of the story for me. Take Kylo..... Yea Han and Leah's kid.. Wasn't named Ben That was Luke and Mara Jades son which Disney threw out the window and called it non cannon..... Now Han and Leah did have 3 kids. One of them a set of fraternal twins. THAT could have been Kylo and Rey but nopeeeeee they had to fuck that all up.... I could go on and on. I have over 250 books and comics. My entire office is plastered in Star Wars stuff right down to my curtains. Here are some of them plus my computer I custom build it and the stand it sits on. This is just a few shots lmao. The walls all have stuff its even spilled out into my hallway annoying my wife lmao.

I love the first trilogy of Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi. And really only the first two hold up. Though ROTJ was always my favorite. Empire is superior in almost every single way thematically and on a technical level and in terms of staging and acting. Bespin is the best duel in all of Star Wars.


For the sequel trilogy i will at least say Mark Hamill and Harrison Ford gave decent performances in the first two of those.

Despite the screen story being a Mismash of stolen ideas from the old movies and EU. Really what it comes down to is the failure of Rise of Skywalker to have any sort of payoff and to stick the landing.

There was no saving that no matter what though because any and all versions ending with Han, Luke and Leia all being dead is always going to be a bad ending.

The series has basically been in freefall since Last Jedi and the death of Luke Skywalker and I can't say it isn't deserved.
