I just finished the third season of the bad batch, and for some reason I would love to see a parody game of the series

I actually watched the first Star Wars movie last week for the first time. It's definitely dated but it was pretty good, I'd give it a 8/10.

you're in for a treat my friend. finish the original trilogy, then you can watch the prequels - The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, and Revenge of the Sith.

AVOID THE SEQUEL TRILOGY AT ALL COSTS!

i personally recommend you watch Rogue One and the Andor Series as well, but its your choice in the end.

I use to be a big fan of the Star wars universe but after the sequel trilogy and they unwillingness to focus on any other storyline that wasn't mainly focused on Jedi and the Skywalkers I got tired of it all. The universe it has can be so much more interesting if they just stopped making it about Jedi.

i know right, they could give us a story about HK-47 and his problem with meat bags, or a story about young chewbacca and how he got his bowcaster. even a bunch of short stories about the little mouse droids on the death star would have been neat.

Either of these would make the best movies.

Which version? the current one reflects 40 years of special effects its not Star Wars, the film that came out in 1977. It seriously bothers me that people think those cgi shots were in the original, Greedo always shot first, that Hayden was always in Return of the Jedi, that these are the films Marcia Lucas edited. That the 1990s and later effects standing in for the revolutionary award winning work of artisans, craftsmen and ILM from the 70s and 80s doesn't outrage people. Because its a deliberate act of suppression and rewriting of history. I don't begrudge a final cut or directors cut, hell Lucas could do 100 special editions as long as the original is available from legally obtainable means, in before someone says watch 4k77.

I'm also quite bothered by the fact i need to watch a laserdisc to see the 1997 special edition edits or theatrical Phantom Menace so its either laserdisc or another 35mm bootleg, and don't get me started on how their isn't a quality release of the 77 theatrical cut of Thx 1138, or the 1978 American Graffiti. Once again those are bootlegs.

Disney should make Willow available in 4k UHD i shouldn't have to jump on plus to see the best version of the 1988 film.

I'll always respect and admire Mark Hamill, he didn't have to respond to my fan mail in the 90s charging me nothing for his autograph, it really lifted my spirits at the time i will never forget it.

im kinda meh with Star Wars .. sorry guys. pls dont hate me

George Lucas said the dumbest thing he has ever said, and it was about the originals. He thinks they are locked to a laserdisc master, he'd be real shocked to see 4k77, 4k80, or 4k83. I know the Lucas archives have far better sources than those, he is the reason the films haven't been restored its absolutely bonkers, and he is on the film archival and restoration board with Scorsese. Completely nonsensical and unseemly.

We used to get interns from Europe at my job, mostly grad students, and most of them had never seen Star Wars.

So we'd do Star Wars nights every couple weeks, and take them through the original trilogy, then the prequels, then the sequels.

They almost all really liked the original trilogy. And it turns out Gen Z girls still really like Harrison Ford, they'd be like "was that Han Solo guy in any other movies?"

Love the star wars franchise in general but just watched the acolyte and thought what a load of shit.

I wish they would hurry up and remake Knights of the old republic. I remeber seeing the trailer for the remake and then nothing. Revan is still one of my favorite Star Wars characters.

Pretty much like all the Star Wars movies - but still remember seeing Star Wars: Episode 4 - A New Hope when it first came out in theaters - loved it, actually went to see it twice!
