Not a VN, but would suggest Lisland if you have the PC (and time) for badly optimized 3D games. Would probably need to dig around a bit for latest version tho (If I recall the one here was locked at a very early version due to very [small] reasons).
I had fun with the survival and base building mechanics, all while collecting different loli's to put to work and train/play with.
Avoid building a baby crib though, becoming a dad is not fun lol, constant crying. Twice now I had to abandon the little shits on a neighboring island to get some peace.

Not something to actively follow though, but ~once a year I find a new version and "Collect them all" (*except babies )

If that is indeed the one, I agree. That was one of my first AVNs and I really enjoyed playing it as well. There are 2 main paths in that game: Romance and sexual. I must admit though that the sexual route doesn't have a happy ending. I haven't completed the romance yet.
