Siren Song Chapter 3 - Progress Report 2/16/25​

It's happeniiinnnnnnnnnng!

I'm so excited to finally be back with Charlie and Bobby! I love my other story and characters a lot, but I've missed this story so much. Unfortunately, I am not talented enough to be able to switch back and forth between the two very easily, so I can't work on both projects simultaneously. But now I'm back and I'm so glad.

I'm busy writing for the most part right now. I know the main points I want to cover in this chapter, but the story is in the journey and that's where I think we all tend to fall in love with the characters. I have begun rendering the opening scene as well, and things are looking good.

So far in this chapter we will:

• Deal with the aftermath of the previous night
• Find out what the voicemail from Rachel says
• Get to know Willow a little better
• Meet Vikki Vex
• Watch Charlie make some good and bad decisions
• Learn more about Bobby's approach to "life on the road"
• See our main love interests' relationship bloom

All-in-all, it's gonna be a fun time. And for those of you who are afraid of "Jonesy's Dark Side", you needn't be. This story won't always be rainbows and butterflies for Charlie and Bobby, but I have no intention of getting more dark than maybe a car accident, a robbery, or maybe a sleazy nightclub owner.

I hope you all are as excited as I am. As far as a release date is concerned, I'd probably guess June or July at this point. It's just too soon to say anything concrete. If things change, I'll keep y'all posted.

Hey Everyone!


It's been almost 3 weeks and I wanted to share what I've been up to. (Hint - I've been busy!)


I'm about half way done writing chapter 3. If everything works out the way I expect it to, it should be a fun one.


I've finished rendering the first scene, so that puts me at about 10% more or less.

I have also been busy on Suno writing songs for Charlie, Bobby, Willow, Vikki Vex, as well as other bands we will meet along the way. I plan to go back and add actual songs to the previous chapters so you can hear what I have heard in my head when rendering and coding those scenes.


The biggest news is really more about my progression with all of my projects including Siren Song: Adding galleries!

=================Development Storytime (Skip if you like)============================


It has always been a goal of mine to have a gallery in my games.



Well, I finally learned how to add one. I know, I suck at coding. It probably shouldn't have taken me this long, but here we are. Anyway, I used the stock tutorial "game" built into Ren'Py as my original guinea pig, and after I figured out the basics with that, I moved on to Christmas Eve. CE is a much smaller/shorter game, so I figured it would be easier to add a simple gallery to it first. So, while I was doing that, I had to confront the noisy image of an elephant in the room. Good gods those images are noisy. So....I FINALLY cleaned them up. I found a program that could denoise images in batches so, I used that. It only took about an hour or so to do 1300+ images. They came out looking pretty impressive. Check it out:

It's not perfect, but it's definitely way better. So much so, that I've decided to release a "new and improved" version of Christmas Eve in the near future. I promise it won't interrupt my progress on SS too much! I also noticed a few typos and a couple of inconsistencies/continuity errors in the CE story, so I will fix those as well. What you will get is a more polished version of CE that fits the overall story between itself and NYD better with improved images, features and overall appearance.

This paves the way for galleries in NYD as well as SS. NYD will get a standard gallery of special scenes and animations as well as a "Bios" gallery that will have unlockable backstories for characters as they are introduced and/or when spoiler-appropriate.


Siren Song will have these two things as well as (hopefully) a music gallery where you can listen to the songs from the game and perhaps any Siren Song inspired music that you guys decide to submit. They can be covers of my songs or anything you like. I'll also add a link to my

Anyway, I hope you guys are happy about this. I know I'm super excited to add these features to my stories. I gotta get back to Charlie and Bobby and see if they are gonna do what I want them to do, or if they're gonna go off and do whatever they want. I know Charlotte tends to do that from time to time. Maybe it runs in the family.

Siren Song Chapter 3 - Progress Report 4/4/25​

Hey All,


Spring has sprung, the weather is warming, the pollen count is rising, and the animals are all getting twitterpated (including our main characters!). I just wanted to drop in and let you know how things are going.


Overall, things are progressing nicely. The story is more or less going according to plan so far. Charlotte is cute as a button, Bobby is doing his best to navigate the roadmap of his feelings and his sense of fatherly duties. There are some complex emotions popping up that will need to be addressed.


I am about halfway done writing, coding and rendering through the first day. I think this chapter will be two days long, but we will see what happens.


For now, I'd say we're looking at a late June release at the earliest, but things could change. It all depends on how much free time I get between now and then, and I'll keep y'all posted.


For now, just enjoy this image of Willow looking cute as can be.

Siren Song Chapter 3 - Progress Report 4/28/25

Hey Everyone!


Just popping in to give you guys a quick update.


I'm still plugging away at Ch3, but I have to be honest with you, I haven't made much progress.


My mom has taken a turn for the worse. She is now in hospice care and isn't expected to be with us for much longer. I know I shouldn't be worried about this project right now, but it really does help me to work on it. It gives me something to concentrate on other than all of this stuff.


In short, it may be some time before Ch3 is released, but please know I have every intention of continuing with it. This is gonna be a really rough time for me because she and I were really close.


So, yeah. Hug those close to you and tell them you love them. Squash that argument and make amends. Love the people you love and never stop, because one day you won't be able to tell them anymore.


Sorry for the bummer update, but I needed to let you guys know what's going on with me.

Just binged through 2 chapters in one go, and just... wow. I may think of myself as too cynical to cry at stories anymore, much less romance. But this romance is so pure (by erotica standards) and so doomed it really tugs at the heartstrings, without having to resort to some cheap death in the family scenario. The only way for these two to be together is to completely destroy their family. Incest Romance with an Affair... I had been looking for something like this. Jonesy, this is really inspiring.

Siren Song Chapter 3 - Progress Report 5/31/25​

Hey Everyone!

It's been about a month since my last progress report. Things haven't been that great. My mom passed away about a week ago. While I am heartbroken to have lost her, I have to remind myself that she was suffering a lot, and that it is good to know she is finally at peace and with my dad at last.


As you can probably imagine, everything was put on hold for a while leading up to this point. Well, I wanted to let you know that I will soon resume my work on Siren Song and New Year's Day(e).


My time away has actually been helpful in a way. I was saying to a friend just a few minutes ago that while my mom was sick, I felt like I was just going through the motions, building this chapter of Siren Song like I was mindlessly producing something on an assembly line. Now that everything is over, I feel like I've found my voice again. I've gained perspective. I can finally get inside my characters' hearts and minds again. I am really looking forward to returning to this story and getting lost in their adventures.


Anyway, that's about it. I'll send out a good update on my progress soon. I can't wait.

Well, do what you need to do, and take whatever time you need. May she rest in peace.

I don't know you, but your story managed to make me remember romance again, after something that feels like years (it's been a couple) of neglect. And from a prono game, of all things. It definitely feels like a forbidden romance I was looking for for a long time.

I can tell you put your soul into it, and there was several 20-30 odd times I wanted to critique it, but figured there was no way someone else's influence could improve what are essentially the author's life experiences/stories inside a visual novel. From a storytelling point of view, the experience was... inspiring.

One of my favorite scenes from Chapter 1. I'm pretty sure we've all had that moment at a concert where you shouted the lyrics to your friend next to you instead of blurting out with your true feelings for each other.

Hey Everyone,


Sorry for not posting for so long. It has been a rough few months.


The gist without the drama:


Development on Siren Song hit a pause at the end of May and has currently resumed. I will keep you all posted on the progress. I’ll give you an estimated release date as soon as I’m able to judge my rate of progress.


I have been dabbling in prose writing (non-visual novel) and posting a story, “The DLG Club,” to

. This is just a fun little side project that uses the characters from Christmas Eve and New Year’s Day(e). It’s not really meant to be canon. It’s more like the old Marvel “What If” comics. It’s about “What If” six months later, Eve formed a club that taught other girls how to have fun with their Daddies, too. My writing is admittedly pretty mediocre (at best) in chapter 1, but it gets a little better as the chapters go on. I may do a VN version of it at a later date. Check it out if you like.

The drama: (It’s a bummer, so don’t read below here if you don’t want to be bummed)


My mom passed away at the end of May. It was a good thing in the end. She was very sick for a very long time. While it was a relief for her, it was devastating to me and my brother. I thought I would be okay, but I guess losing her kicked my ass in ways I never imagined. To make matters worse, I just lost my dad a little over a year ago, so I kinda got a pretty bad one-two punch. His passing didn’t help make things easier for my mom while she was still here, or for me and my brother now that she's gone.


I say all this not to gain your pity, just your understanding that stuff has been really difficult for me, and I just haven’t felt connected to Charlie or Bobby the same way I was while my mom was still alive. That is beginning to change now. I am starting to feel that pull again. I am finally back at work. I am finally coming out of the surreal haze I found myself in for a couple of months.


The DLG story has been very cathartic. If you read it, you’ll understand why. Some of the scenes in there aren’t subtle. It served as a vessel/sandbox/laboratory for me to sort out my emotions and figure things out. (I know, writing a porn story in order to heal is a bit weird, but if you read it, you’ll see it’s more than just a Penthouse Forum letter.)


Anyway, I can’t wait to see Charlie’s smiling face again as she experiences life on tour. I miss those days, and I have so much fun seeing her learn all the lessons I did.

Hi Again!


I wanted to pop in and give you guys a quick update. There’s good news and bad news. Bad news first.


I have been trying and trying to figure out how to pick up where I left off with Siren Song back in April or whenever it was, and nothing seemed to be working. It all felt weirdly forced. The storyline that had made such sense to me then felt weak, or out of touch. I remembered it seeming so deep and fitting back then, though, so I kept trying.


Then, I read through the last part of chapter 2 and then straight into what I had of chapter 3, and the problem became clear.


What I had done sucked ass.


The direction I had taken things in was just…bad. It was boring, aloof, and straight up weird in parts. I think I was trying to “put you into the mindset of being on tour”. That’s cool and all, but the truth is, when I was on tour, we had LOTS of downtime. And yeah, we were bored a LOT. If that was what I was trying to capture, I nailed it! It was just Bobby and Charlotte walking around, hanging out. Wow. Super fun.


Anyway, I had to take it back pretty far and redo a lot of dialogue, change Charlotte’s outfit (from skanky to cute), and redirect the story as a whole. I didn’t have to scrap too much, just the boring parts, so it’s not a complete do-over. After I release chapter 3, I’ll let you know what my original trajectory was (spoiler alert: it sucked).



The good news:


I am now back on track and really excited about the new and improved direction this story is taking. Yes, there’s still a bit of them walking around and hanging out, but it’s more engaging and fun and less of an info dump/commentary on the DIY punk scene of the '90s and early aughts (AKA “Back in my day…”).


So, that’s where I am, for better or worse. I’m sorry this isn’t going any faster. I am optimistic that it will be worth the wait. FWIW, here is the "skanky" Charlotte (left) vs "cute" Charlotte (right), just to give you some perspective on the difference (It’s mostly a different top and hair):

To me, she just looks more "Charlotte-y" now. I hope you guys agree with my change!

Siren Song - Progress Report 9/19/25


Hey All!


Just giving y'all a heads up on Siren Song. It seems too good to be true, but I think I'm back, baby!


For the first time in a really long time, I feel good about creating an AVN. The renders are turning out really well, I feel like I'm making good choices storywise, and the scenes are coming together better than I thought they would. I still don't know when I'll be done with this chapter, but I can confidently say it will be done before the end of November. The sooner the better!


I am about 40% done with the writing, renders and coding. I still have a lot to do, and I still need to go back and make some corrections to chapter 2. I also want to place real songs into the previous chapters as well.


It's going to be really good. I hope it's worth the wait!

Hey All!


Just giving y'all a heads up on Siren Song. It seems too good to be true, but I think I'm back, baby!

I am about 40% done with the writing, renders and coding. I still have a lot to do, and I still need to go back and make some corrections to chapter 2. I also want to place real songs into the previous chapters as well.

I think there was a typo when I last played it, I'll go and check.

EDIT: Can't find it, I guess it's all good... The story is just as sweet and grounded as I remember it. Looking forward to chapter 3, don't fuck this up!

Siren Song- Progress Report 10/4/25

Hey Guys!





I’m trying to keep my updates to more or less bi-weekly…or is it semi-weekly? Whatever…every two weeks!


Things are going well. I am having a lot of fun. Charlotte is on an emotional rollercoaster in this chapter, and so is Bobby, for that matter.


We finally get to meet Vikki Vex and the Hexes (which I’m working on right now). Things between Bobby and Charlotte are going hot and cold, so we’ll see where they end up. Willow steps into the spotlight a little more in this chapter, and things with Rachel get a little crazy.


I’d like to think I’m about 50% done at this point. I’ve added some automated music scenes and some original songs for Charlotte and Bobby. I added them starting in chapter 2, so I am pretty sure that your saved games will not work because of this. Maybe create a save at the beginning of the show at the beach club, so you won’t have to skip all the way through chapter 1.


I THINK this chapter is gonna be really good. I think my foray into “real” writing has helped a little, although writing a novel and writing a VN are very different. With a VN, you have to let the images tell part of the story and take the place of any descriptions you would normally write out in a novel. I HOPE I am now doing both better.


I will be doing a little more custom content for my Patreon and Subscribestar folks soon. Halloween is on it’s way and that is Eve’s favorite holiday, so we’ll see what she has in store for you all. I think I might do some polls and release some music as well.


Anyway, I gotta go tune my drums!

Trick or Teat!



Holy Guacamole, it's almost Halloween!


I’ve been so absorbed with my own crap that it really snuck up on me this year. I gotta get a costume!


Anyway, down to business. Not really much to tell, other than progress is progressing. I think I’m still on track to get this chapter out by or before Thanksgiving. I have a lot to do, but I’ve gotten a lot done as well. I’m about 60% done I’d say.


For those of you who don’t know, I basically write, render and code each episode all at once. I plan out the beginning, the end and a few ideas for things that happen in between, but I usually let Charlotte and Bobby decide how they handle those things organically. It may not be the “best” way to do it, but it’s my way of doing it.


So yeah, there are only two (large) scenes left to do with some spiciness in there somewhere.

SIREN SONG CHAPTER 3 RELEASE!!

Hey Everyone!


I honestly can’t believe I finally made it. It seemed like this chapter (and this year) would never be over. I am so glad to finally be able to release it.


As many of you know, this has been a really tough couple of years for me, and I truly appreciate all of you who have stuck with me through it all. I hope that this chapter of Siren Song is enough to show you that I’m back to my old haunts, making “obscenely wholesome” content for you.


Chapter 3 represents a culmination of over a year of work, revisions, reimaginings, and catharsis. It contains over 1100 new images, 4 original songs, and some of my best AVN writing to date.


One of the biggest developments in chapter 3 is the addition of the actual songs, with vocals and all. You will finally get to hear what (at least a few of) these songs sound like. I even went back into chapter 2 and added a “performance” of "Accidentally on Purpose" next to the campfire.


Because of these additions, OLD SAVES WILL NOT WORK WITH THIS VERSION! I will post a downloadable save game that will hopefully fix this issue, but really, skipping through the first chapters shouldn’t take that long, and hey, replaying it from the beginning might be fun!


So where are we? Chapter 3. As I’ve said in previous updates, chapter 3 picks up almost immediately where chapter 2 left off. We get to see the emotional aftermath of what transpired that night at the campsite, followed by how Charlotte and Bobby (names can be changed) navigate this new dynamic.


So far, this tour has been a journey of “firsts” for Charlotte. Will that theme continue?


Strap in and get ready for an emotional rollercoaster of a chapter.
