This game caught me by surprise. I put it off for a long time, but now I can't get enough of it. The conversations feel pretty realistic, even going so far as to devolve into circles of repetition. It feels like real moments in these people's lives. Of course there is still a significant suspension of disbelief that goes with AVNs, but I think it toes the line well.

The slow buildup and the emotional beats are fantastically done. There is a moment where it suggests players go play "Lillith's Longing", and I wholeheartedly agree. I will admit the tags for that ~75 min side story are different, but it gives insight into one of the main LIs and where her mind is at this point.

The question of how different the MC's relationship is with Abby vs Lillith and Becca is one that is explored in length in the game. For my opinion, I think it is fundamentally the same type of love. Even if he watched one her entire life vs coming in to the others' life halfway through, his parental love for them is all the same. Now since this is an AVN, there is also lust there. But the whole discussion of how "its different" between the girls does wear thin. And if one of the girls has her way, it will keep wearing thinner until the difference disappears entirely.

Great emotional roller coaster and wholesome story (ie no big troubles outside the drama of this writhing mass of girls).

I think around when the waitress he just met decided she wanted to jump his bones, is when I seriously downgraded my "realism" rating for this story. Personally, I consider those additional characters as a sort of... added to hold over people while sexual relationships develop with the 3 main LIs.

I still love the whole game, but I would enjoy the story more if it had stayed with just those 3, despite the slow burn. Just my opinion, though.

Thanks for the info! Almost 4 months is a long time, I have been playing this game since launch, I love it, the characters, the designs, the story, I just hope that 1.23 is as good (or better) than 1.22!

Yeah, the main LIs are generally moving so slowly, the side pieces are probably added to make sure interest doesn't dawdle too much. When I meant realism, it was less the content of the conversations and more the way they would banter with each other, harping on a point multiple times, feeling the ebb and flow of the conversations as the lighthearted and serious topics are interspersed. The pacing feels good, the actual content of the dialogue is straight AVN trash (and I mean that in the best way possible on a site of trashy AVN games!).

Yeah, the MC was a big negative in an otherwise great game. He needs to nut up.
