I like the when there's background music, or just ambient sound effects, as long as it isn't obnoxious. There are some VNs that I've nearly fallen asleep to because I was just reading a damn picture book at that point.

In an Ideal world yes, but if your just going to have one or two generic tracks play throughout that do not always fit the tone of the scene than its not really worth the effort imo

Games that are completely silent always feel a bit unfinished. Unless it's painfully bad I'd prefer some music. Even if it's a little bad, usually it's funny in its ineptitude and I can work with that.

I believe that music is an important part of a game or a VN-type game, so... music yes.

Most of the games have to loud music, so I turn the volume down, but not mute it. It just feels odd to have something moving on the screen with absolutely no sound. And is not like people are listening to other things on their device while playing a porn game.

If it is not too intrusive, every game profits from music. It makes everything look more professional, in my opinion.

I find it super important. Some devs are really bad at chosing the tracks and that make some parts really offputting, but the ones that know how to chose them really make a difference. And even if it's not perfectly chosen, it is nice to have some ambience.

background music is fine, but sometimes with VN's it gets to repetitive and can put me to sleep. Sound effects and voice acting are usually great though.

I've played a few games that have used music to enhance the experience, but more often than not, it tends to feel more like elevator music. there to fill the silence.

i don't mine when games have music but it's not a massive deal if there isn't music in the game

I usually dislike music or sound effects in my games unless its actually great music like in Leap Of Faith, that soundtrack was pretty darned good, otherwise i listen to my own music, or asmr while I play so the in game sounds or music gets muted anyways lol
