Sex scene in every update or okay to skip the earlier chapters?

I prefer story updates over sex updates. Nothing is more frustrating then finding an update of a beloved game and then get disappointed because there is no real content, just some stupid sexscenes.

need some sort of lewd in first chapters, but I don't mind waiting a few chapters for more. Depends how long it is between updates though. Don't wanna blue ball for 2 years

Good point. If it takes a long time between updates maybe give us something to bring us back.

I'm fine with games that don't have sex scenes early on, but it is nice to see them if there's a way to add one in. I'd much rather have no sex scene however rather than a game that doesn't have any build up though. I prefer games that have FMC that progress their sexual acts as the story develops.

I prefer slowburn. One of my all time favorite games I played for 5 hours and there was no sex in there the whole time. It was sensual. But since I was really into the story, I didn't pay attention to it.
I agree

I enjoy a good slow burn. But I would like some eye candy along the way. Like the good old trope of walking in on them in shower. Or peeking at them while they changing. Things like that just to give us a taste of what is to come.

Depends on the story as long it makes sense and not just you want to put it there for no reason.

Another case of balance. There is no easy answer.
For example if it is only updated every 6 months then it needs some spice in it. If your talking about every month then in the early part of the game it's possible to skip here an there so long as there is actual meat to the story, not just aimless bits that keep the sex from happening.
It also depends upon the story type. For example if it's a full blown harem then there really is no reason. If it's a single love interest or small harem then it makes a bit more sense. As to small harem I'm thinking of like Dating My Daughter.

It is possible to make a game that does not need it, unfortunately there are not many devs who have polished their skill enough to do so. By no means am I knocking the devs this is not just here this happens, look at movies, how many don't even get a theatre release then consider how many of them are even remembered 6 months later. It's a hard thing to do but is a goal worth striving for.

Unless the scene is significant to establish or drive the story, better to have early updates without and build up to it.

It's the plot that counts. And well-developed characters. Sex for me personally is somewhere in second or third place, I do not suffer from spermotoxicosis.

Its just to early for me to jump into a game, I will keep an eye out & wait tell its out of demo days.

Do you remember the name of the game?

That username looks like a deleted account, i doubt you'll get an answer.

I think it's best to wait until the third update, I like when the games are slow, long stories are the most enjoyable

with how fast games get the abandoned tag i tend to wait a few updates in to see if the dev actaully keeps any momementum before trying. For the main LI's i do prefer a slow burn but don't mind some eye candy before that, if it fits the story. Whether thats daydream, an accidental walk in, or something that at least builds tension a bit.

I prefer some type of lewd scene in the first release, BUT I also prefer to have a big enough release to make it work. And in all honestly I don't expect a lewd scene with any of the main LIs in the game out of the gate, I think it works best with a throw-away, side girl, or even a one-off with a recurring character depending on the story.

I'm more of slow burn type of person so I don't mind having to wait and update or two for a sex scene, unless the game is made with the intention of being just a "fap" game I think the scenes should be built up to and be a bit meaningful.
