discussion RPG vs Sandbox

A good sandbox is better as RPGs can feel a bit too similar

Sandboxes are harder to do, but when done well they're my favorite by far.

Something like The Headmaster or Incubus City can become my short term obsession, while a VN or RPG is fun while it lasts but I have no real interest in returning to it afterwards.
