Well, all the "step-" prefixes—stepdad, stepbrother, stepmother, and so on—have been replaced... so you won't see "step-" anywhere in the text.
And I don't think most people really care all that much about whether the story is "one hundred percent accurate." Instead—as I know from another game—that step-based part is incredibly annoying...

but important is if you want remove the patch you must remove the uniincestpatch_lowercase.rpyc and uniincestpatch_lowercase.rpy file in the game folder or if you have the other version uniincestpatch.rpy/rpyc file

But the patch is written in such a way that you can very easily rewrite the story.

but i think for this story is not needed really...look at the text...

Well, the story has been rewritten now so that your stepfather becomes your father. It's as simple as that.

Sure but your still missing the point blood relation was never intended.

It doesn't fit no matter what you do. You basically altered the original version into a fanfiction.

We'll just go in circles though so it doesn't matter.

I once modded something similar for another game; I’d just need to rewrite this file, and then I could offer a mod.
