If you never played his other games this one is probably not the best one to start with since this is a sequel from Secrets of whispering pines and the stories of the other ones connect with this one. All of his other games are very good as well so you should check them out.

The main focus of this release was to finish the story of Secrets of whispering pines. In the next update seath can focus 100% on the new mc and his story so I am sure we will get a lot more content with her.

I started playing last night and finished just now. What a crazy start. You, Seath, are a crazy motherfucker (in a good sense) with such a start. Thanks to your team and you for this. I will be honest, it was in some places very hard to follow, and that was already the case with SoWP, that's why both will stay at the bottom of the list of my favorite BHGames. But they are higher listed than the majority of other games, VNs and crap that gets released reguraly. Can't wait to put Mallorie in her place to messing with sweet Pheebs (or as I call her Phee, sounds and flows better, IMO).

I can see it being hard to follow since it you basically need to have played all the games to fully understand what is going on. For me. this game jumped right to number 1 in how I rank BH games.

Don't get me wrong, I did play all of them, but until SoWP and RoWP, they were only loosely connected to each other with smaller corssovers, but with those two games, they're not only connected to each other, they're overlapping. And being someone, who normally names his MC, even in the BHU, it could've been a real headache, if I tried it here with all MCs showing up. There were already too many events crossing over in SoWP, but this first chapter was on a whole new level.

The only one you need to play is Secrets of Whispering Pines, as is the first entry. Granted, there will be a moment at the end where the dev tried to retcon all his other works (ala Spider man No Way Home), so don't be too surprised if it gets a little confusing but its no big deal.

Play any BlackHeart game. Then go on their discord. And enjoy those great artists (and give them money, you little bunch of freeloaders)

In case of difficulties to connect neurons, i give you a little tip: Games have a release date. You just have to know how to count (yeah, saying this in the 21th is a fun - really - thing to do).

Yeah as someone who is a self insert andy i really just cant get onboard with all the mcs from all the games mashing together like this. I gave them all the same name and it was just kind of an hilarious mess It just takes me out of the game. not that this is a slight on the game, its sill very well made like most of there stuff just not for me. Think ill stick to the more one mc focused games like lost guardian for the foreseeable future.

I'm guessing he has enough games in progress right now that he's not going to work on another at the same time. Also, that wasn't one of his games, and it's generally not easy to pick up someone else's game, especially when it doesn't follow the same nature of his games at all.
