yeah I'l prob have to restart since the scene was moved to a different folder rather than removed entirely. Usually that just completely breaks saves rather than moves the old save point when loading older saves from a newer update, which was weird. I save at every choice by habit so the saves where to pick to eat her pussy or not and let her cum in your mouth or not would just drop me at the start of the scene that had me just walking into the bathroom, seeing her naked, then walking back out. So in short bugged saves rather than broken ones that threw grey screen errors.

Man I really love this dev, this is probably my most enjoyed dev. They have the most fetishs that correlate to my likes and also I enjoy the stories from the 3 games I have played from them. Like I said in my last post, this should be solveable with just rolling back far enough to exit the label for the scene and then going forward again. Most saves are in the middle of a label, so all your saves are going to be in the censored version since the uncensored version now has a different label name. Once you roll back enough to exit the label, the game will trigger the label override at the beginning of the label and put you in the uncensored version of the scene, no restart needed. BHG tends to have shorter labels in his more recent games, so it's not likely that you won't be able to roll back enough to get the correct scene.

Yeah I backed up a few choices and had the same problem, so just started over and ctrl-skipped rather than keep doing that for who knows how many tries (there's a bunch of choices, I think I had like 15 pages by end of Ch1). All good now until they decide to do this again (hope not).

It's really evident how success of Dire Desires kind of influenced some of the games going forward. I usually like darker scenarios as they are quite rare in games.
However to me, dark options in this game make absolutely no sense. More so combined with who MC is.
MC being rough with his daughter feels just wrong as I feel like it's coming out of nowhere.

I've been playing BH's games for like 5-6 years now so kinda used to it (first one was that hotel one that lost me with the plot holes so gave up and just fapped to the scenes). I'm sure newcomers that haven't read a dark AVN before will wonder WTF? on occasion with most of BH's AVNs. With this one and most loli AVNs I just assume the MC is just your usual ped0 with maybe incest and/or BDSM fetishes and go with that, makes perfect sense then even without supernatural elements as even in the real world most look, act and have regular jobs like everyone else and blend in when not naked around their preteen daughters. Though not really into BDSM or treating my LI's like shit myself so I usually skip the dark paths and go for the lighter ones.

You may have to restart, BH started making a censored version for Itch but if you use older saves it goes all wonky (missing content) and reverts to the censored version. I restarted and Ch2 is smaller than Ch1 but there's a few fap scenes

I've been playing for about the same time... but you can pretty much see that it goes from tamer to much darker. It's hard to assume John is into usual things in BH VNs... considering he seems like a normal guy? More so when in initial release you have scenes where he's reluctant about touching his daughter. Then after it it isn't touched on him having feelings like that. Just feels... off this time.

Personally really not into those supernatural elements in the BH games. Kinda liked that most were somewhat grounded in reality. Introduction of 'Lust' kinda took it away from me personally. More so when if you don't accept, you don't get scenes with daughter. But then again you don't get those unless you decide to rape her.
Regardless John as policeman with no real... fucky backstory deciding suddenly that he likes kids is weird. More so when the scene with Mallory happens where he's unsure.

Would make so much more sense if it was touched on that these feeling awaken in him and take Phoebe's corruption slower. Also lighter. I dont know.
Comparatively to Dire desires, I'm more fine with that game. Considering MC is an asshole so everything he does fits.
Plus as I said before, you can see Dire desires content influencing other games. Recent Mallory scenes are an example where it goes for straight up abuse. I can't really complain about more content... but if every game becomes the sameburger of things, there isn't much of separating them, right?

Each is stand alone really and can make sense by itself. The "universe" is loosely tied together but not really? Think of them as cameo appearances and other story references from the other AVNs not 100% necessary to the story of the AVN you are reading. I'm just glad the renames of the other AVN MC's didn't carry over with them, that would have been some confusing dialog with 5 people all named the same and talking at once.

I have noticed James has no "DECEASED" stamp written over his picture in the notepad, unlike Donny or Monique who are most likely dead for good. On the other hand, John's wife Wynona who is reported dead, but apparently not dead, as the game implies, doesn't have this stamp. Does it mean the James is still alive and we still have two MCs in one game. That would be weird since they basically fuck the same girls.
