Recently returned to this VN after several months away and I admit to being rather disappointed. The most recent (on here anyway) update 0.70 seems to be nothing but an aimless bonk-fest with little story progression. This is a pity as the MC was originally a decently rounded and detailed character with an interesting backstory - as were other main chars/LIs like the estranged stepsisters, (wicked) stepmother, and sexy war buddies. The plots and subplots were nicely fleshed out early on in the narrative, but the most recent update is just a tedious collection of sexual encounters, adding nothing to the story or plot. I fear that the Devs themselves may be getting bored with this VN and it would not surprise me if this ultimately gets thrown onto the growing pile of abandoned projects. A real pity

Completely agree, although I personally had the first such concerns after the previous update (v.0.65).

When in doubt blame Patreon, since that shit site limits where devs can take their stories. Just about event AVN still on there is boring shit that has already been done 100x before and what's slightly better/more tolerable could be far better if there were no limits.

Fantastic game. A shame that the updates take so long to come out, but very good game. Lisa's haircut is the only thing I would change, with long hair she was better. And the pregnancy tag may appear at some point

SeveredRealms just introduced/invited me to this site so I'm just gonna more or less copy pasta my post from Fuck95 from a week ago and see how it's received/gets more traction here. Literally only been on this site a few minutes so not certain how I should go about sharing it yet. On Fuck95 I made a dedicated mod post where I could go into more detail and receive feedback. Let me know if I should do something similar here. Other things to note about my mod/patch, I changed the fonts to something more readable (not sure if it was just me and there was a scaling issue or something with the original fonts), Americanized the dialog as well as some proofreading.

I love incest content so I tried playing with simple_human's i-patch (I incorporated some of the work they already did) but the code's simplistic nature kinda messed it up to the point that I thought that Karabinek was bad at English (partly why I wanted to make my own patch) so I essentially went through the script line by line. I added a little flair to it and made the MC a little more like-able/smooth.

My i-patch turns Lisa, Jennifer, and Nicole into half-siblings and Linda is their Mom but absentee with his missing mother being a step mom being that he refers to as his real "Mom" even to the point that she adopted him without Linda contesting it. I tried putting a little more narrative/"novel" in the AVN (adult video novel).

I think/hope that the way I altered the script only serves to reinforce Karabinek's narrative. I didn't want to detract from their work or to make their story my own. I hope that people give it a chance, enjoy it, and see that was my intent.

The "low quality" is exactly that game version with using webp images. Calling it "low quality" is imo nonsense, probably a copy from that "other site we should not name"

Yes, I'm currently working on it. Since it's the only patch/mod I've ever made and it's been a while I have to remember and relearn a few things. It'll take a day or two since I read through every line of the code. I also started a fresh playthrough last night to refresh myself and noticed a few typos and grammatical errors I missed the first time so I'm fixing those as well. I'm glad that some people enjoyed my first effort enough to look forward to me updating it.

Meh game. Story degenerates in to endless fuckfest almost immediately and prettymuch turns to - hero goes to point A fucks there, than he goes to point B and fucks there, than he goes to C and fucks there. Its just a standard patreon milking tactics, just throw some fuck renders at gooners and stall game progression as long as you want, and when stream of cash will start to dry, make some garbled abrupt ending or just abandon whole thing altogether. Story quality also never lifts off standard gooner power fantasy - MC is a cardboard avatar whose whole purpose is to bang chicks, he is immensely cool all powerful eldritch being who attracts chicks just by existing, everyone likes him, those who dont will suffer, he cant ever be set back or otherwise suffer some kind of bad luck, he is too cool for that. His name is Rey Skywalker i guess.

An update on my mod/patch/rewrite update...

TLDR: It's going to take longer than I wanted/hoped it would take. While I hoped to have it done by tomorrow or Wednesday, I think Sunday, March 30th is a more realistic effort on my part. If for some reason I don't finish by then I'll give another update.

Excuses Reasons:

• So I started replaying 0.70 the night before 0.75 to remember things with the intention to just skim through but I noticed an embarrassing number of typos and whatnot that I somehow missed in my first attempt so my playthrough is taking longer than I anticipated since I'm being more deliberate to thoroughly read everything and fix those that I notice within my playthrough choices before moving on to the new update. I forgot the amount of reading there is for each day of content, somebody remind me to start like a week in advance next time so I don't feel burnt out just playing the game like I do now. As of writing this I've finished Day 13 after about 36-48 hours of playing with very few breaks to give you an idea of my rate of progression.
• I plan on slowing down a bit and giving myself more frequent breaks as I've already given myself two stress related headaches.
• It took me several hours to google the right answers/remember exactly what I had to do for my setup to extra everything from rpa files. I made myself a note this time to avoid that in the future (hopefully).
• After I finish my 0.70 playthrough (which I hope to do today), I plan to compare the content the unaltered version of the files that I rewrote between the 0.70 and 0.75 versions to see if Karabinek made any changes that I need/should carry forward. It's a simple program so it should be a rather quick affair.
• The big issue is Day 17, the new content... I forgot just how big they were for me to tackle. My process is less than efficient so it's almost 8,000 lines of code and dialog for me to read, error check, rewrite, and spellcheck. This will likely take me 2 or 3 days to do.
• Then I'll do a quick verification check (aka finally playing the update) to make sure it works as intended and that I didn't miss any major errors before releasing it.

As I've said before and elsewhere, I appreciate that others have enjoyed my alternate take on an i-patch/mod/rewrite and are looking forward to it's update. I know we've been waiting a while for the Reunion content update but I hope you understand and can wait just a bit longer for me to update this.

Apologies/Vent:

While I initially had every intention of updating my mod/patch/rewrite, I have to go back on that statement. I cannot say one way or the other whether or no I'll update it or not, but if I do it/they will be done irregularly without any coherent time frame.

I have come to the realization why the way I went about making an i-patch (full rewrite) is so rarely done. When I took a leisurely approach and did the first 16 days in one go at my own pace since it was a personal project, I noticed how incoherent some of the coding structure was at the time but payed no attention to it. I didn't think about how updates might just blow it up and didn't really care since I only intended it to be for my own personal enjoyment. However, in my hubris I wanted to share what I accomplished.

That brings me to my current predicament... Due to self-imposed pressure and drive to indeed provide an update, my mental faculties are causing me to become physically ill and lose any of the joy that I originally had with this little endeavor. I apologize that I have to take this wishy-washy approach to whether or not I'll update it, but I clearly need to do so for my mental and physical well being.

I greatly appreciate the response that people had to my initial release and hope that people understand where I'm coming from. Try to enjoy the game it's original format and feel free to check the link to see if I do indeed update my version at some point but know that my updates may be as infrequent or even worse than the dev's, if at all since I'm I need to approach this a back-burner-ed hobby.

Now, I need to go watch some mindless comedies or something to get back into a healthier head-space.
