I haven't taken a look at the patch to see how it changes things, but I'm not sure how it would even work, story-wise. The MC's dad never married Linda, and her daughters already see the MC as a brother. The mystery of the MC's actual mother having gone missing years ago is a major plot point (don't hold out hope of her showing up and joining the harem though, the mystery is mostly resolved now and what happened to her was not pretty. If she's even still alive, she uh... wouldn't be harem member material, to put it lightly.

Plus, as of v0.6, there's now an official incest patch included in the files, sort of. It doesn't make the MC related to any of the girls (so far; who knows what the future holds?), but it does enable sex between the sisters.

Comparing versions she was made a step-mom, with his bio mom the one he moved back to and her daughters the MC's actual sisters, so it was the step-mom that went missing. Like I said, it does take a bit of re-writing but the essence of the story remains the same and still fits the renders, which also explains why the mod probably isn't universal when an update also requires adjusting the story for consistency and updates to it can sometimes take a few weeks or longer. The same happened with Treasure of Nadia, keeping the incest mod up to to date with that was a bitch, so much so the sequel probably won't get modded until a few months after it's completed. I know it's extra work, even if it's mostly just extra writing using the same renders, but I really wish more devs would make 2 versions (a boring whitewashed-for-Patreon version and an incest/loli/beastiality/rape/blackmail/everything-else-Patreon-hates for the SS version) so 3rd party mods like this would be unnecessary. It's kinda a hint that certain content is in demand and could be extra income when some 3rd party goes to this length to make it happen.

Developer news - update 0.65 - #6

Hello everyone,

It's been a while since my last post, but I've been working really hard on the game.
The update is almost finished.
I'm waiting for the last 400 images to be rendered and in the meantime I'm fixing bugs and testing the game.
I really hope my PC will finish rendering these images by the end of this week so I can prepare a build and upload it for my testers.

Now a few words about what's in this update.
This time the focus is on the story and further development of the main characters and their relationships. I wouldn't be myself if I didn't add a new girl, so you will meet a busty doctor - Kate - somewhere during your gameplay.

I brought to life a lot of side characters that didn't get enough attention in the previous updates. So we have Sandra and Isabella, Holly and Amy, Clara, Emily - they all got their parts in this update. New girls will also get their parts - so we will get to know Amber, Jade and Paige better.

As for the main story - there will be some gunfights, some car chases, and a lot of sex.
To answer the questions I've been getting - yes, there will be a lesbian scene (Jill and Jennifer) and yes, it will be skippable.

Hello everyone, I haven't posted in a while because I have been so swamped with work that I really didn't have a moment to do anything other than work and updates. For the past three weeks, I kept telling myself that I needed to finally write a post since so much time had passed, but then I would sit down at the computer and start working on the update, and afterward, I was so exhausted that I would tell myself - I'll write something tomorrow - and the days kept passing by like that. However, I finally have more time because I just finished working on the update. As I write these words, the latest build is being uploaded to the server, and soon my team will start testing it. We want to thoroughly test it over the weekend, then spend a few days on possible fixes, and the plan is to finally release the continuation of our heroes' story next weekend (Saturday or Sunday).
The work on this update initially went very well and quickly, but at a certain point, I completely burned out and needed to take a break. The biggest crisis came after Easter when it turned out that my two colleagues and I had three weeks to prepare a major project worth several million euros. We worked 12-16 hours a day, 7 days a week, and we basically finished at the beginning of May. Fortunately, I had most of the work completed because I planned to release the update in mid-April, so those two weeks were enough to finish up and finally catch my breath a bit.
I hope you're not too mad at me and can somehow forgive me for not reaching out for so long. I hope that the update I've prepared for you will make up for it entirely. Best regards.

Perhaps I'm looking in the wrong places, but the header says that this is version 0.7, but all the links are for version 0.65 (which I've had for some time). Has anyone else had the same issue? I've been looking forward to the continuation of this story, as it's really interesting (was his dad really a grade A creep?!?) and the graphics are excellent.

I'm afraid that further increase of LI will lead to the fact that you just start to get confused in names, plot subarcs, while the development of the main plot will stagnate (it's already happening).
Also, dev said: “I couldn't convert the images to a format other than PNG, so the update file size is quite large”. This is also a big minus.
I once really liked the plot twist and the first steps of its development. Now I'm not sure I'll continue to follow this project. The constant increase in the number of potential LIs has already made me quit the initially good Love and Sex Second Base project.

By the way, the update isn't a patch, really. It is a complete replacement for the script.rpa file in your game folder, so rename the downloaded "patch" and replace script.rpa. If you launch the game and the main menu screen says 0.65, you did it wrong.
