Just got this screen in some random Ren'Py game on a rig with an i9-14900KF and a RTX 4090. Should I upgrade?

Start the VN with shift held down and try picking a different render engine maybe? Or make sure it's using your GPU and not the MB graphics.

Didn't know about the additional options when Shift-starting a Ren'Py game. I am forcing the DirectX renderer and disabled powersave for now. The warning did not repeat since then. So big thanks for that.
