discussion RenPy Hotkeys Help

I am a player, not a developer.

Most RenPy games have hotkey usage like H hides the text box, and S takes a screenshot of the game screen.
Now I have been playing a game, and all of a sudden the hotkeys (which worked before) do not work anymore. Was there a command I hit to disable hotkeys and is there a command to enable them again?
Thanks for any support (again I am not a developer/programmer but a gamer only)

have you tried exiting and opening it? You sure it was not a scene where you need to click on something? Does it only happen in 1 game?

Maybe you can try to reopen the game

To be honest, RenPy does not do a good job of communicating what the hotkeys are as several you just have to look up.

Some games disable certain hotkeys and features. Something might also be up with your keyboard.

I tried closing and restarting the game and it didn't work, but I tried again today and it worked (maybe my computer had to restart)
