I've experienced for a long time how much time manual work takes when translating Ren'Py games. That's why I developed a translation tool called Voorhees.

No news on YouTube or Instagram, where I asked some questions.
I use this software from time to time, and it deserves more attention.

How can I support a project if the developer has lost interest in it?

I reported a few bugs, such as the RPA extractor not working and some missing translations, but I haven’t received any response.

This project has been discontinued. However, I have another translation tool that I originally developed for my personal use with Ren'Py games.
It's significantly faster and more comprehensive. In one of my recent tests, it processed and translated over 40,000 text entries in around 63 seconds while preserving Ren'Py tags and syntax.
I've mainly been using it for myself, but if you're interested, I can share it.

As for Vortex Translator, there aren’t many problems – it’s just a matter of fine-tuning. But I’m not a programmer.
