I think you forget that he has been tapping into the weird void voodoo magic. And that it's probably affecting his mood, making him angry and, yeah.. a stuck up douche.

If a story is written well enough, sex scenes should be a secondary consideration. This story is a pretty good piece of fiction/horror that does a good job of storytelling. Just my opinion.
That's because this is about the story, not eroticism. It's pretty plain from all of the things the Dev has said about it since the beginning of Arc 1. The sex scenes are fun and play a role in the story, but they aren't THE STORY. If all you want is animated fap material, just go find some porn loops on an R34 site.
