Wow. I didn't know usenet was even still a thing. I used to use it back in like the 90s but haven't touched it in ages.

Since then, retention has grown (5,000 days), prices are extremely competitive ($5 a month for unlimited, block accounts of 2-3tb for $20, $40 a year unlimited, etc) and finding files no longer involves scrolling groups with programs like agent and xnews. Some groups are fun to look through (a.b.android for example) but it's more or less a point and click now. Most posts are obfuscated due to dmca bots, but indexers (about $10 a year each) make short work of it and some servers (eweka) use ntd takedown and are much harder to go through for them. And you can add several indexers to a program called nzbhydra2 and just do a search on all of them and send everything to the usenet client. Standalone clients have gone the way of the dodo, few use them, it's all open source web-based (sabnzbd/nzbget are the two) and for good reason. 220tb posted every day is nothing to shake a stick at, it's terrific.

Copying saves from ep. 1 worked for me. You just need to scroll a few save pages (with empty cells) to find them on page 3-4 or whatever.

I scrolled down past page 9 before I posted. All blank for me. Dev already confirmed his mistake, and promised it won't happen in later updates. My finger got some exercise clicking through episode one as quick as possible. I didn't want to set it to skip, and miss the whole thing because there were no choices.

Is there a patched version available somewhere? Nothing with the smols this update and it definitely felt like there were scenes where it was outright skipped. Scene with daughter camping with friend's mom. Daughter and young friend watching tv while MC sleeps in the living room. These all seemed like they were leading to something but then the scene would end. Makes me think there's a different version out there - anyone know or have access to the discord?
