I'm sorry, but what does this joke about Australians mean? To be honest, I don't follow very closely what is happening on the Australian continent.

A dev from australia was arrested because his game had loli content so there are a lot of devs that decided to abandon their games because of that.

Westy, dev of Proud Father, was recently busted for "production of child sex abuse material" because Australia's ridiculous laws see no difference between CG porn involving cartoon lolis made with DAZ Studio and real photo/video images involving real underage victims. His assets have been seized and he is looking at years or even decades behind bars and then life on a sex offender registry even afterwards. This has caused a massive amount of fear among loli devs whether or not they live in places with similar laws (such as the U.K.). Many games have been abandoned or placed on indefinite hold, some devs are changing their dev names and/or rebranding themselves as "adult only" producers and the whole field has been disrupted for the near future at least. You can look around on the site; this is a common topic of discussion.
Please note: Any further discussion of this news should be conducted in an off-topic thread. Just wanted to give you the basic rundown of recent events.
