For now, mime and apollo have full control over LC and will be handling site decisions going forward. I’m stepping back from making site changes for now and letting them decide how to move LC forward. - Jack Of Blades

Maybe there is no loli content in that chapters.?
I dunno I´ll replay the whole game. (And really don´t take notice in which chapter is what scene.)

I have no clue either as i'm still waiting for the fixed version IF it's even planned ( probs naive though :ROFLMAO: ) so i downloaded the Patch beforehand and noticed just now that they are empty.
And assuming it doesn't have anything to do with loli but the Relationship between MC and the triplets.

I have no explanations as to why chapter 5 is empty, Chapter 7 though and this is just speculation, but it is only a beta version that was leaked early.

It's posted at the top of the thread just under the page numbers this might explain why chapter 7 is empty they probably didn't get that far yet or didn't even start it yet because chapter 7 is not finished. Again this is only speculation and I still don't know why Chapter 5 is empty.

It's a valid speculation though, as you said it would make sense that the Folder of Ch 7 is empty then with the Game being in beta but yeah it's puzzling me why Ch 5 as well:unsure:
But as i had a suspicion that a fixed version of the Game is probs on the way i actually was right, 0.7.1 soon-ish up for $5 Subs or something.

1. Not every chapter will come with images or videos in the "True Edition" folders, however you should still always download/install the patch, because it acts as an UNCENSOR for the game, affecting everything from choices, to dialogue, to monologues. Every single chapter of Radiant has censored content, and this has been the case from Ch1 onward unless you have the patch. For example, everything that references the girls ages, or that references the MC as their "father", or the girls as his "daughters..." and even some mild flirting with girls like Alita will not display unless you have the patch installed. Some choices, such as the ability to touch the girls in their sleep, will not display unless you have it installed. ALWAYS. ALWAYS. ALWAYS. install the patch.

2. Only images that feature explicit content with girls like Norah and Alita, or images that depict things like sexual assault, will be placed in these folders. And since Radiant does not focus on the same characters or include the same exact type of content every chapter, this naturally means it will be on/off for whether or not images/videos appear in those folders. ←→ You still need the patch.

3. Anyone claiming that the update was 15-25 minutes long is doing the skip-fap, or is making choices that locks themselves out of relationships with certain girls. Ch7 was the same length as previous chapters. The only chapter that has stood out so far in length is Chapter 4. ––– Chapters 5, 6, and 7 are all roughly the same size. ––– Ch1, Ch2, and Ch3 are significantly shorter than Chapters 4-7.
At the end of the day, Radiant is a choice-driven harem game. If you want the full experience from said harem game, that naturally means you must opt to pursue all of the girls. You're not forced to pursue everyone, and that's a good thing because it allows your decisions to have weight and meaning, and it allows you to feel like you're steering the ship and tailoring the experience to your preferences... but if you decide to play this way, you have to expect that game updates will feel much shorter for you: especially when factoring in the branching and choices, which further "gates" content because you won't be seeing everything that is written/coded. There's no way around that unless you want to play a kinetic novel that focuses on only 3 girls, which is not the case for this game.

Code:
Chapter 1 – 2,806 code lines
Chapter 2 – 4,041 code lines
Chapter 3 – 4,916 code lines
Chapter 4 – 7,995 code lines
Chapter 5 – 6,746 code lines
Chapter 6 – 7,505 code lines
Chapter 7 – 7,563 code lines

I see thank you for the explanation I didnt know thats how the patch worked :D

Pretty lackluster update considering how long it's taken. I keep saying they should cut out so many of the side characters, it's going to (not joking) Take until well into the 2030's to get satisfying arcs to all these characters. I can't even remember all their names chapter to chapter. Just give more triplets and Alita.

while i do like the story with brooke, its getting a bit much if we now also get her friend, leah, the model, neighbours wife, the masochist girl (altough that one was pretty nice), etc

That sure explains the empty Folders, thank you very much, at least now im aware of why.

if your a subscriber do you still need to download a patch? I tought subscribers edition included everything.

To the person asking, I don’t think this patch had any smol content. I think mc just talks to Alita a little bit (regular talking).

It's definitely not a 20 min update, but for a whole year of waiting the size is definitely very disappointing. For me the only thing holding back this game from growing, is the huge wait time periods between updates. When an update that takes a full year to come out ends up being roughly the same size of an update that was done in 4 months(previous update), that shows people that there is something very wrong, going on with the development.

RK Studios has released Chapter 4, after more than a year of "development". I gave them $10 to their Patreon, and am DL'ing it now, along with that official walkthrough.
is it worth it?

Completely understandable. In this instance, something did go wrong with development. Dev stated he made a somewhat last minute decision to rewrite over 70 pages of Ch7's story, which is the main reason why it took so long.

If this was a one time thing, I think people would still be disappointed but wouldn't mind that much, but unfortunately this is not the first update to take close to year, or even over a year to be released. If I am not mistaken, the only year that this game got more that one release was the year it came out. It got the first release and then an update 7 or 8 months later.
It's not just the update feeling small for the wait time, is that now when people finish an update they are conditioned to believe that they won't get another one for year and they just get frustrated.

I think this game is very worth paying for after an update releases. The in-between time might not be worth it. There are a lot of people paying to keep the dev funded even when he can't keep a schedule.

Put another way, evidence shows paying him more hasn't resulted in faster or better work.
