That is all you do drag and drop the game folder where the game folder is. Either the file is corrupted or something happened. I dragged and dropped it and everything worked fine.

Images - chapter 6 - TrueEd. You can look in the folder and see if the image is there or not. If it is try loading it into something like paint-net to see if the image is corrupted. If it is then it should throw up a error when trying to load it.

Thanks again...i'm not very computer savy. Just curious, does it matter if you combine updates and original install with some being compressed and others not ? Probably better suited for a thread called " for idiots only "

That would probably depend what the compressed version is using for image file format. Uncompressed uses .wepb and so does the patch. Not sure what the compressed version uses.

yes,perhaps i installed it wrong. I saw previous post saying don't overwrite game folder, I think i just dropped it into the existing game folder

If you installed the patch correctly you won't need to start a new game. At most, you may need to roll-back a bit if you're loading a save directly from the scene. Odds are you installed the patch incorrectly.

Incorrect:
radiant-v0.6.2-pc → game → game →

Correct:
radiant-v0.6.2-pc → game →

In other words, make sure you're merging the new game folder, which comes with the patch, into the existing one. You should NOT have two 'game' folders. It's also important to make sure you're using a program like 7zip or WinRAR to extract/open the files.

Also, don't worry about individually moving files/folders contained within. Just move/copy the entire 'game' folder, and paste it into the same exact directory where there's already a game folder. IF prompted to overwrite, click yes.

The patch instructions are not wrong. The patch says "overwrite if prompted." This is because some people might be using a version of the game that already has existing images or files from an old patch, or they may have tampered with files (such as copying their old patch.rpy files over). There's also the possibility that they're using an in-game mod of some kind which already has images from the patch.

The instructions say "overwrite if prompted" for this reason. For example, in the "True Edition v0.6.2," some of the images for "c6o" we're replaced/updated with fixed versions from v0.6.1. It's always a good idea to "overwrite" when/if you are asked when merging game folders for the latest edition of the patch... though generally, you won't need to overwrite anything.

What news are you expecting? The one that's linked in the OP is updated for v0.6.1.

Such a waste this game. Devs could do with less projects and have focus on better writing. Could have been even so much better then it is now. it's been 4 years since initial release man.

Picked a weird time to start complaining. CH6 was the second biggest update of the game and only took 4 months.

Anyways, side note:

For those trying to figure out how to unlock the forced scene for Liv near the end of CH6...

There's two ways to make this happen, assuming you do not reject her in CH5:

1. Raise her "scared" points to at least 7 and choose "Deceive and Use Her" to get onto her Dark Path. If you're using this method, avoid raising her "horny" or "love" points too high... since if you tell her you love her or at least say you care about her in CH6... her being too horny or loving you too much can counteract her reluctance. The safest response is just "I Know", since this only checks her "scared" points.

2. The more straightforward method... reject her at every opportunity from Chapters 1-4. Then make sure you accept her advance in CH5 and choose "Deceive and Use Her." This should guaranteed put you on her Dark Path and unlock the forced scene in CH6.

People will always find something to complain. If one update every 4 months or so, becomes the norm, I personally don't think there is anything to complain about.
It's probably too soon for something like this to happen, but one thing I would like to see is one of the girls becoming the MC's partner in crime and help him seducing all the girls.

Yeah a game with updates of this size, and with the amount of overall production and polish they receive, is not easy to pull off in under 4 months... so every 4 months would be a sign of someone working their fingers off. Regardless, even if/when this does happen, people will find new things to complain about... or still complain regardless.

On that "other" forum someone tried to say CH6 was half the size of other updates, when in reality it's the second biggest chapter of the game

Nah even if you only play one path, this update had enough content to justify the 4 month wait. I think people just got used to complaining about this game and now that they can't accuse the devs of milking they make shit up.

Yea I know I was joking. 5 months between updates doesn't sound too bad if the update is around the same size as this one. I think if they are able to keep the releases between 4 and 5 monts, most people will not have an issue with it.
