20 chapters were planned. Since one chapter comes out more than a year, that's at least another 13 years. Therefore, most likely, the project will be abandoned. If things continue at this rate it will probably never be completed anyway.
It's still better than BlueCat... I feel old thinking about that, but it still hurts. The game will be abandoned way before we get anywhere close to the 20 chapters. Dude said at the start of May that the update was finished and that the testing would only take a few days. It's has been a month and still nothing. He simply doesn't have the work ethic, he is a chronic procrastinator. If things haven't changed in 6 years of development I highly doubt that they will ever change.
Any dev is better than BlueCat lol. It's still better than BlueCat... I feel old thinking about that, but it still hurts.
I still dream that someone will take that game and remake it. It wasn't the best—the graphics were just so-so, bordering on bad—but it was one of the first and biggest games with smol content.Any dev is better than BlueCat lol.
Should I check it out? I think I passed based on the models before, but is the smoli content hot?BlueCat
I can't really give you a good answer because I'm looking back through nostalgia-colored glasses. But I do remember that there was a lot of smol content, and the quality was pretty meh overall for the whole game.Should I check it out? It's good, but because of its age, the Honey Select graphics look a bit dated now, but content-wise it was good. It has been a while since I played, but there was more young teen content than smol, but it was done well.Should I check it out? The most notable thing—and the reason Ecchi Sensei became so well-known—was that it was one of the first and biggest games to feature smol content behind a “Dark Mind” patch.
Damn you for making me remember that developer and his game that hooked me only to be letdown by his ambitions. It's still better than BlueCat... I feel old thinking about that, but it still hurts.
Milking those of us who pay on Patreon. I don't know if he does any others like Subscribestar but I have paid on Patreon for more than two years and every time, it;s aways the same story with different details...We used to get decent solid sized updates around 7-9 months and then it just went downhill. The models are made, Open them, dress them (Most 'creators just use downloadable assets for clothing and don;t render it themselves), pose them, set the scene, I don't know what he uses to render, if it's DAZ, or Blender, or what, but as far as the game goes, Again, the models are made, ou pose and animate them in the rendering software, convert and compress them to be used (in necessary) in Ren'Py and roll. It's Ren'Py, not Rocket Science so it can't be that hard to get that out, He said up and down that this one wouldn;t take as long as 7 from da one and we all knew better. His progress chart that we, the Patreon's see is as useless as Anne Frank's drum set because how do you even have a progress chart if there is no progress? . I get writing can be a challenge, but that is also not THAT time consuming. I wrote my last book, 1,179 A4 pages with 10 MT condensed font and .375" margins , in 7 months of spare time. . . So I'm not getting it and honestly it annoys me since I DO pay and chapter 7 was the shortest update ever as far as run-through time. . . .and it took the longest to drop...until Chapter 8....that is. It sucks because it is a top 5 game, easily and I would give it the highest praise like I used to, but Since Chapter 5, these ait times have gotten beyond ridiculous and the whole of Chapter 7 being so short and pretty 'meh' on the story side after a wait so long burned that up for me....It was like he got on Patreon and the places it got uploaded, started seeing that people were getting frustrated with it and rushed the update out after not touching it for months..I don;t know if that is true, I just know it is what it felt like...I'm not mad at all, I am just very disappointed and for a person who has anxiety issues and obsessive compulsive disorder over things being unfinished, it only makes it worse....The game will be abandoned way before we get anywhere close to the 20 chapters.
