There will be drama, but nothing that the MC can't handle and navigate his way through. Direct quote from the developer on Discord:

True when considering the wait between updates, but in the context of the story it's not like things are progressing slowly with them. Already reached second base with one, full blown sex with another, and have lewd dark content with the third (and some mild flirting on the light path).

Brooke is a major character, her and Alita are the only two who have their own unique relationship variables in game's code that aren't triplets.
I'm excited for the prospect of at least creating some contempt, depression ,anger etc within some of these characters. I find that sort of thing really engaging because my grandmother used to beat me with willow reeds. My favorite VN so far in my travels is Malignant in part because you can be an absolute monster and basically ruin pixel people. I know its not everyone's bag but for me every other VN is a bit like an FPS where the only weapons are paintball guns, wiffle bats and a big foam incredible hulk hand.
It's me. I'm the dark path guy. I started down that path just thinking it'd be a more "dominate the girls" path, and maybe a little less cuddly than than the other paths. But it's been darker than I imagined. But it's ok...they're imaginary. I promise they'll get over it.
Yeah, I like some of the psychological parts of the dark path that I've seen, playing on insecurities and whatnot. I was also surprised and didn't love by a particularly brutal scene in the dark path as I figured it would mostly be emotional torment, undermining self esteem, and playing the girls against each other. I did get the impression that future dark path stuff might lean more psychological which I'm here for.It's me. I'm the dark path guy. Yeah, manipulation and generally assholery is more what I usually prefer from a path like this, but I'm really not complaining. I'm a big boy...I can handle whatever story they want to tell for that path.
This is one of the top-tier games for me. I consume the Discord updates, et al. I sympathize with the frustration of the wait, but given that I'm consuming rather than producing art, I continuously have to remind myself that if it was as easy done as said, everyone including myself would be an artist. Fortunately, I do think there's enough new content in each update to justify the D/L. I'm on Lust path now. I could get interim replayability out of Dark path but not interested in being Dark. I might start a separate playthrough of Pure/Love path, however.
