Just stop smoking. Simple and hard.
I'm convinced there are genetic predispositions. This is why one person could have a beer
or a shot of whiskey, and another person gets a tiny bit of alcohol in their system and
they go off the deep end. Same with food while some people can eat a little bit of food
and while some end up like that TV show my 600 lb life. Me personally I smoked
for a bit when I was 18 yrs old, only because of peer pressure, but one day I decided to
quit and I had no problem quitting, gave my pack away to a friend in the neighborhood
that I saw mowing laws. I had zero withdraw, meaning I literally didn't crave one after
quitting. But years ago my uncle who was in boot camp for about a year, as soon
as he got out he went and bought himself a pack of Marlboros, even said the entire
time he was in their, that all he could think of was smoking a cigarette.
So I'm thinking maybe it's something in the genes, why one person develops
an uncontrollable addiction to something while another who could take that
same substance and introduce into their body and they do not walk
away with that addiction.
