I was smoking normal cigarettes for 35 years.
4 weeks ago a friend sold me an E-cigarette (RandM 7000) and it´s working for me. I dont know if it is healthier than cigarettes but its much cheaper.
Just bought the Aspire Flexus aio.
So, what is your experience with E-cigarettes and wich one do you use with witch liquid.

Congrats! Heres to a more healthier life!
As for its healthier..Kind of. Cigs have all the other bullshit in it, tar, carbon, etc etc all the black shit that colors your lungs.
E-cigs dont, its straight petroleum glycol(PG) or vegetable glycerin(VG) and nicotine.
The Vape Pens are the same but im not sure if you can have 0% nicotine.
If you want a little more "healthier". Try Vaping, the one with the liquid. Nothing but PG/VG with the option to have nicotine. At 3% nicotine, its equivalent to smoking 1 pack of cigs in 20puffs

I just quit for hmm about 15 years.
from about 40 cigarettes to none.
It´s cheaper than e cigarettes and healthier.

how many times have I quit smoking and then started again

i am smoking for 10 years now but i mostly smoke weed instead of tobacco these days

I quit nearly 25 years ago from 40 cigarettes without filter a day to none. It was so horrible that I never dared to start again. Just imagine the money saved

Congrats! I work with plenty of people who used to smoke but moved to vaping, with some even managing to ween themselves off of that completely. It can be a hard road but definitely worth it.

As for flavors, it's just a crap shoot of what you enjoy. Some people like fruity ones, others like chocolate, and others go for actual cigarette flavor (ick.)

Either way, good luck and I hope you manage to keep it up!

First week was not easy, had always the moment when you want to grap the box, but now i dont even think about it.
And yes, some friends quitt smoking for good with vaping. Way to go for me ;)

my mother wanted to quit smoking soem years ago (i might have badgered her enought...) and went to an hypnotherapist.
worked wonder for her. Might be of help to you.

Congrates on reducing the habit. But E-cigarette and Vaps are not that much healthier. You're trading the carcinogens, tar what not in the burning tobacco for vapors which also cause damage to the lungs are a pretty good rate. Some if that damage is permit.

Use it as a stepping stone but don't think it's a big health jump.

According to most healthcare providers/systems they are much healthier than cigarettes, in fact some say 90% less harmful. Nonetheless you are still inhaling toxic vapors into your lungs so there is harm associated with it. At the same time they are healthier and quitting smoking is the best thing anyone can do for their health so it's a step in the right direction for sure. Some friends of mine who stopped smoking and went vape gradually reduced the amount of nicotine in the vape oil and while some are still vaping at a low strength vape oil others have quit all together, and honestly dude, they look like different people, major level up for them. Anyway dude, best of luck with this positive step, one day at a a time, and more power to you..... (y)

I smoked for 22 years and quit by switching to vaping.
I've been vaping for....10 years now I think?
The owner of the local vape shop says I'm one of the hardcore ones. He thinks I'm crazy for doing it for so long.
I should quit....but I don't want to. I enjoy my vices.

I usually pick out a low wattage box mod because I've always vaped MTL - Mouth to lung. Right now I have a Vaporesso GTX One and I use an Innokin Zenith II tank. Innokin are one of the few companies still producing straight MTL tanks.

My go to vape juice is Beard Vape Co #32. It's a cinnamon funnel cake flavor, and it's fantastic.

Yep, that works... if you survive the first few weeks without losing your mind.

I quit after 10 years and smoking a lot during the day. It was hard but... it's been a decade since the last time and I never want to do that again to my lungs, life is definitely better without that crap.

The physical addiction is a pain in the ass but you can get over it in a relatively short time. The hard part is getting over all the small things you associate with smoking. I used to think a lot about smoking for a while after quitting because I always had a cigarette with me after doing certain things, it took me a while to "reprogram" my brain to stop thinking about it.

Personally i dont want to die healthy and keep smoking ^^

Awesome job, congrats! Vaping is probably 100x better for your lungs (and life expectancy) than cigarettes, and that's not even an exaggeration. Obviously vaping is not completely harmless, but this is the best decision you could have made. Start with high nicotine and gradually ween your way down to lower and lower amounts.

I'm aware vaping is still harmful but god did it help to switch to a vape instead of cigarettes, cardio became actually possible again.

Absolutely! I couldn't agree more. In fact I'm in quite good physical shape and I've noticed zero difference in lung capacity or cardio efficacy when I've been using vapes vs when I haven't been engaging at all. Obviously this is anecdotal evidence, but I can still swim 100m in under 1m, run a 7 minute mile, long distance run, etc.

yeah, that initial break from smokes was an eye opener. I could actually breathe better and taste things more.

The change for me was night and day, the thought of a 7 minute mile would kill me when I smoked, now I'm running every morning with my dog, I find myself being able to do rock climbing and football for way longer, etc, etc, it was life changing, even if I do feel like a nerd, vaping
