Overview:
Portals of Phereon
is an exploration/ management/ breeding / turnbased (on tilemaps) strategy game with Monstergirls, made in Unity.
Characters:
There are 3 different maincharacters (female, male, futa) with a different set of abilities/ goals etc.
There will be a lot of base species
(currently 10 (Beast, Centaur, Harpy, Succubus, Mermaid, Plant,Insect, Lavagirl,Lizard and a Light Creature))
and ALL possible combinations as hybrids as your characterpool to recruit from/ breed.
(+ some special hybrids with more than 2 bases)
Npcs will mostly be variants of those species or completely unique ones.

Exploration:
Go through randomly generated Portals, discovering/ recruiting new Species, finding interesting items/ events etc. and bring your rewards back home.
Some portals may need flying characters etc. to access.
The overworld map is also tile based.

Combat:
Turn based on a tile map with permadeath. Characters have a lot of unique abilities, passives based on species. First all your characters act then all enemy characters. To make permadeath/injuries in this system not too frustrating, ranged abilities are very limited so enemies couldnt just focus all their attacks on one of your characters, instantly killing it. Instead characters are able to seduce others from far away, increasing their lust. While their lust is above 50% they get a lot worse (take double dmg, deal half etc.), so "ranged" characters still have a big influence on the game while not feeling too unfair. At 100% lust characters cant do anything except masturbate/fuck, effectively stunning them for a round.
mana and hp never regen naturally and the gametime passes during combat, making every single battle important, forcing you to think about how you want to prioritize your ressources (hp, mana, time, characters, etc.). (I always hate completely meaningless filler battles in games).

Breeding:
Breed your characters' traits/stats to create a team specially tailored to your playstyle and/or portal environments or to prepare for certain fights/fullfill requests etc.

Town:
fight in arenas
train your characters/your sexSkills and put them to use in the brothel
build upgrades etc.
do quests/ interact with npcs

SexScenes:
They will mostly be Image slideshows with descriptions etc. (maybe sometimes animated)
There will be a lot of random events that occur based on your party/ biome/ rng etc.
Npcs will have more complex scenes where you have a lot of choices.
I try to have everything porn related to also have gameplay consequences, so seeing sexScenes etc. is not the reward in itself, otherwise it would feel weird to be punished for it gameplay-wise.

Added a bunch of unique things to build around. 50 new items, about 20 tasks, skills and traits, but you'll likely only see a few each game.
I still have a bunch of art stuff I haven't put in yet, so next update probably in a month or less.
For that update I'll try to focus almost entirely on just art and writing, expanding on date/town events, updating combat sprites, adding clothing/variations.

Professions:
Each profession has more run defining unique stuff:
A work task, usually for upgrade purposes.
A unique item/crafting recipe.
A strong unique skill for your maincharacter.

Adventure portals:
New type of single-use portals. One appears every 5th day.
Much larger world map. Need to find exit portal.
Guaranteed egg with special new trait pool and treasure with new unique item pool.
Fractured portals have multiple smaller layers instead. Only final layer has guaranteed rewards.
Points of interest have fairies/healing plants etc. near them to scout for.

Characters:
Updated art for some species and added clothing.
Alt art for some species and sprites fit more.
Added new combat sprites for some species.
Seraph species now has a new picture separate from the boss.
1 new special hybrid.
Gratha mc now has the ability to grant item passives to characters.

Team import update (accessed from town menu):
Teams will now be normalized before export. (ignores all run based modifiers/stat increases/essences etc)
Effectively creates new base copies and simulates level ups under neutral conditions.
Can toggle different level caps to normalize for.
Certain team conditions determine rank.
Team size is 5, excluding your maincharacter.
During fights, player starts with 1ap, similar to ambush.
Added start menu button to start a game with neutral conditions to import and fight fairly.
Aside from biome, can also set one buff for defending team.
Build teams and share with other players as challenges. (op skills/species still accessible. may need additional restrictions)

Other:
Added censoring setting to remove nudity, mostly.
Added ironman mode save type: automatically saves after various actions, overwriting the previous save. Standard mode uses that mode by default.
Castalia may unlock the ability to grant base species genetics to impure ones.
For example, can convert Scorpiongirl genes to insect/lizard for team bonuses.
Special trait options obtained from Castalia are random now. Always contains at least a special egg and adventure trait. Added reward to Aila which gives you one random adventure item for free.
New achievement + trait
Removed doubled shield/healing from a challenge rank.
token enemies no longer gain the bonus stats of challenge ranks (portals etc.)
climax during training lowers lust by half instead of fixed 50.
Seeded rng often didn't use the saves seed and were always the same on same conditions, even on different runs. Date upgrades are seeded now and can't be duplicates.

only unlockables.sav is compatible. Old team data is likely also not compatible

**Characters:**
5 new unique characters.
All unique characters now have a unique combat sprite.
Many unique characters now have more interesting abilities/global passives etc.

**Challenge ranks:**
At rank 9+ enemies only have a 50% chance to start with defend.
King fight starts stronger and grows more with time. challenge upgrades further make the fight harder.
After rank 10, enemy stat bonuses grow over time instead of being flat modifiers. (e.g. +1 armor every 5th day etc.)

**Character creation:**
Gain bonus points to spend equal to selected challenge rank.
Removed limits of starting genes.
Freeplay starts with same lv caps. World level doesn't increase caps. (Turn unlimted on for infinite scaling)
Only need 70% portal clear to increase it.
New difficulty modifier.

**Standard mode:**
Displays total challenge score amongst uniques. winning on 0 challenge = +1. 1 = +2 etc.
Winning with the same character only grants points based on rank difference of previous win.
Reaching certain thresholds grant starting buffs you can claim on the first day of all standard runs.

** Other:**
Some skills can now be used even while at max lust.
Stabilizing portals without beacons costs more.
Fungal element starts with fungal potion crafting recipe, letting you make mc fungal.
Added some ways to spend excess workforce.
Merchant/Noble start with contracts to recruit characters.
Increased ng+ changes to level/gene cap and hostility increase.
Removed ng+ restriction to not bring unique characters.

Small update I mainly made for testing balance etc.
No real new content, but meaningful gameplay changes for 4th mc.
Standard mode:
  • New standardized game mode. Almost no randomness for start.
  • Trying for a cleaner experience where everyone shares the same difficulty/conditions.

  • You won't start with any special traits/modifiers/profession etc.
  • Generally more focus on using what you find and adapt along the way.

  • Fixed story or reward characters are unaffected. (Terra/Avy/Sangara etc.)
  • Each character recruited this way has a random bonus (until fused). (+50% str, +100% beauty etc.)
  • Generally the goal is to make timed runs more varied as you get different strong uniques early on, while not completely displacing normal units.
  • Values will likely change with testing.
Fishing:
  • Added small pond overworld objects which act as consumable fishing spots. possible in rare biomes.
  • New fish and bait. Can fish items based on portal wealth. (catch baitfish first)
  • fixed camera bug in portals.
QoL:
  • Added a button to lose fights immediately in combat menu. (prevent some possible softlocks etc.)
  • Added genes/personality infos to hover for uniques in gallery. Also includes recruit infos and some lore text.
  • Added small checklist of possible daily things as tooltip for sleep button. (bug: drink daily check reversed)
Other:
  • new events. Changed colored plants event.
  • Encounters through events/colloseum etc. should more accurately represent biome, including special species etc.
  • Injuries heal at 100/max stam/morale. Infirmary just lowers the requirements.
  • During freeplay, rival power increases after raising world level, not with time.

SaveSystem:
Should be much faster to open save window with many saves.
Now an additional file is created in the saveData folder, storing information.
The file isn't necessary and could be deleted etc. temporarily removing info from the save window.
File is readable/searchable. Journal entries will be included there. They also appear as tooltip in save window.
Saves from the same start can be more clearly recognized by an id.
Can sort saves by name/id/character/date.
Can toggle a simplified view.

Quickruns:
Seeds can contain things to modify them. (case sensitive. can use multiple)
"Crea/CreaM/CreaF","Evo","Druid/DruidM/DruidF","Other" to guarantee mc.
"Fav" for currently favourite gallery character/4th mc. (seed won't be fixed with differetn selections)
"Fire","Water"... for affinity
"Fusion","Fusion+","Farm","Farm+" override default farmfocus
"Medium","Long","FreePlay", override gamelength
Other selected traits: Gacha, Natural, Hard
Example: "FireCreaGacha69" = starts a run with Creation/Fire element and Gacha, while other stuff is random.
Each unique seed should always result in the same start more accurately now.

Other:
4 new difficulty modifiers and 2 new achievements/traits.
Added some town npc objectives/tasks.
Npcs now keep up to 2 actions for the next day if unused.
added some new events/gallery entries
Option to keep items in party stash when returning
many small changes

Balancing:
Sprout now costs 0ap. Druid hiddenpower skillnodes have bonus stats.
Buffed some slimebulb abilities. Crea gets a skill to throw bulbs. Infected also heals/damage 10% if it's higher.
Spores created by spore effect have genes equal to their origin.
Item value no longer scales exponentially with upgrade ranks.

Noteworthy bugfixes:
Hostility didn't scale correctly based on distance to portal. (could be a lot higher early on)
portals with all species had centaurs with twice the probability
tavern quests were halved while below 50 reputation, instead of -50
tanid team perk also gave the enemy a slimebulb.

Starting portal is really easy now and can have any random subspecies. (on the first day the stable portal tab opens by default)
New players should be able to explore combat more easily with low threat now.
Peaceful modifier prevents scaling based on distance to portal.
Combat professions (knight,magician,battlemaster) are stronger
Replicate costs mana. (glowflies can't use it firt turn)
After winning a battle you get a turn of ambush protection
tundra/desert events spawn more frequently

Other:
Fertility/virility genes also increase energy/milk capacity and regen.
The bonus essence choice for picking yellow profession is only consumed after choosing an additional option

- Evo's flexible trait also allows access to her unlocked skills for all allies.

- tavern quests with resource objective won't also have a resource reward.

- events in portals with native shadowgirls could cause a softlock.

Overworld:
- Party can have lasting effects.
- Visiting your first portal each day and camping gives well rested buff, temporarily removing movement stamina cost.
- Can use workforce to hire scouts for bonus vision.
- Can spend morale to increase movement speed for a while.
- Some tiles (deepforest etc.) don't fully reveal until standing next to them. (still count for exploration)
- Enemy parties now have a chance to ambush you when moving away, while adjacent.
- Otherwise they won't engage when moving.
- Chance mainly based on power difference and battles won in the portal.
- New common events based on native species of a portal. (incompltete)
- Rescue and ambush events have some more variety.
- Anomalies prioritize unexplored tiles.

Other:
- Gallery now has tooltips for passives/skills.
- New achievement for mushroom starting trait.
- Some basic arena battles have species requirement but higher rewards.
- Careful with voltblades! (they can hit any other character now)
- Many bugfixes/other small changes.

Bugfixes:
- "Resonance" could be used on any enemy.
- When enemy uses "Martyr", it healed player units.
- Evolution skilltree radiation immunity was lost when transforming. (could miss new event trigger)
- Changing skills of wife or unit with flexible would still put adapted trait on.
- Lumira wife trait partially applied always.
- Mya increased brothel income instead of Flora.
- Strong fusion focus didn't have the crystal cost reduction.
- Special of Suzy as mc didn't work on strong lifesteal.

- Daily egg progress is now equal to the lower value of a pair.
- (35% + 50% = 35% progress. (previously multiplied 35% * 50% = 17.5%)

- Can choose to marry one of the town npcs, giving various bonuses.
- (Requires not recruiting any other. Should reduce repetitive same recruitment)

Creation:
- Udated skilltree. Generally can adapt summoned character traits very freely.

Evolution:

Druid:
- New special elite seedling evolving from any base spirit. unique skills based on element.
- "Finalize" options are stronger.

- Seedlings can still reshape even after evolution, at slower pace.

Focus:
- moved farm focus to starting selection.
- 5 choices with more extreme options. Option to disable either for bonuses in the other.
- New achievement/trait related to doing neither.

Quickstart/seeded runs:
- Can sometimes start as any unique character/species.
- More impactful unique special modifiers/essences.
- Generally one base species threat, some starting bonus and a neutral modifier.
- Less normal difficulty modifiers/traits. Should be easier to parse starting conditions.
- Shows short summary in log on start.

Other changes:
- Fusing uniques into same species keeps the unique's growth/passives/specials.
- Can now also enter shadow with full shadow team, not needing glowing.
- Dark starting element can craft potions to change type to dark.
- All characters can do basic brothelshows now.

QoL:
- In the quickmenu, you can now quickly assign marks by dragging characters into the icon.
- When fusing, can press a button to maximize genes. (considering chosen focus)

Noteworthy bugfixes:
- Creation adapt skill options were based on her skills, rather than unlocked ones.
- Shiro wasn't recruitable for non druid.
- Town healer didn't appear on first day when skip intros was on.
- Stat growth predictions didn't consider current progress correctly
- 4th mc interaction with rival power was bugged in some places.
- Evo transformations were bugged with traits that applied passives.
I am Syvaron ( (to see screenshots/art examples)), a hobby artist/ programmer.

I just combined all the things I like (programming, art/design, games, fantasy, porn) and tried to find an activity I could do which combines all of them, and this is the result. I am probably quite lucky that all my interests can be combined into one thing (couldnt really imagine a football/musician/diver guy doing the same). So I might as well try to see if patreon works for me, to atleast tell myself that I tried.

I don't think I could get bored working on it, because if I temporarily get bored with programming I just draw etc. I think I'm quite fast at everything I do (sacrificing some quality), so I will make progress quickly, when I have the time to work on it.
Generally the more money i earn the more time I can work on the game.
So the dream would be to work on it fulltime.

Place the file into PoP_V*_Data/saveData, overwriting your own. You must use new saves for Unlockables to work (as far as in-game stuff goes, Gallery should be unlocked no matter what), no matter who creates an Unlockable.

How do i heal someone thats been injured? I have 2 People that I'd like to keep around but i can't find the way to heal them
 
This game is the hardest adult game you will every play. There are mechanics behind all aspects of the game, and its replayability is absolutely unmatched.
 
Love the game, but get way too into spreadsheet mode to ever "enjoy" it lol
 
don't let the comments discourage you, its also one of the best games on site if you learn to play it.
 
Aims a little too wide, and gets a little shallow because of it.
