Hmm, not sure if there is a neat label for this but it basically boils down to three points:
1) don't be an ass
2) I respect feelings and opinions of all but I am free to disagree and i am not compelled to accept them.
3) For example, I have 5 fingers on each of my hands, if you come to me and tell me my left hand has 8 fingers, well I will absolutely reject that

Live and let live, unless someone tries to interfere with another's ability to do the same.

I really think that there it is only 2 ways of a human being exist. Be good or evil in their heart. I know many people that have a really good heart, but they do some really bad and hurtful shit to people around then, and that dont make then evil. And i know for a fact that there it is plenty evil people that do good acts around the world, but problably, just to have their ego satisfied

nobody likes me and i hate everyone so being a hermit works for me.

We live is a simulation, so there is a creator, but it's a software developer in another plane of existence. Occasionally a player takes over my avatar and is apparently a young teen boy who wants to unlock woohoo with girl avatars with modest success.
The rest of the time when I have a simulation of free will, I have these tenets:
1) Don't be an asshole. Avoid harming anyone else emotionally, physically, or situationally ( finances, relationships, etc.)
2) What goes around comes around.
3) Help when you can, and find ways to help when it looks like you can't.
4) Enjoy life, it's probably not got a rerun.
5) Always try to think of how something will be remembered in five years. If nobody will remember it, it's probably not very important.

Had to think on this a bit -- this sums it up I guess

getting more cynical, pessimistic and nihilistic every year

I can't be the only one that has come to hate both the far left and right. I'm just a bit left of center, and see them all running to see which can find a cliff to jump off first. no I don't think we need to just destroy someone's life if they misgender you. No, I don't think the government need to test if your Christian to vote. ext...

I live my life with the idea of "Expect nothing and your disappointment will be lesser", and my favorite one that I truly keep in my mind and always follow it, I will always thank the 12th doctor for it: "Never be cruel or cowardly, remember that hate is always foolish and love is always wise, always try to be nice and never fail to be kind."

i feel caught between different philosophies because most of them have ideas i relate to or simply like but nothing ever feels so cut and dry though i do enjoy the recent uprise in stoicism as its such a respectable frame of thinking

enjoy life whenever you can.
better to die happy than to live an unfulfilled life.

My philosophy is simple. Once I was a simple peasant but when the pope offered absolution for my sins I took up the crusade immediately. Only though my service to holy god shall I eventually reach the fabled holy land of Members +.
