So many girls. So many stories. Wish it went back to the game name... the PA. 0.9 was ok the story mess growing.

From what I recall LEG was no longer working on FF before Az/ML a BHG Dev took over doing most of the work on it but not as the Editor. Az died and it's been on hold indefinitely since. Seth was the writer at least at the time and there is a chance it may come back under the BHGU but with the way his games are becoming darker I don't know how FF or possibly even PF as was once speculated will ever continue when the darker games wrap up. Hard to say but also hard to see the dark mindset drop so easily.

Well that sucks, but at least now we know for sure what is going on. It was a unique story (at least for an AVN, though it reminded me of The Dead Zone movie or the book it was based on). Maybe Seath will pick it up at some point like he did for PA.

I'm only now reading about the addition of DLC (petite) content.
I've already played up to 0.7, and now I wonder if I need to replay from the beginning of the game, to see the DLC. Or is there a way for me to see it via "replay" scenes or flashbacks without having to replay the whole thing?
Thanks

It depends on where and when you got it from. The DLC was just a loli patch for SS, but since links are not there anymore pretty sure it's now included and has been for an update or 2. You are not missing much, from memory the only DLC loli was the Indian girl that visits sometimes, and it's not needed to follow the story. Not sure but if you really want to see her naked you prob have to start over, or at least back up a few updates if you have an earlier save (I save at every choice myself), as she wasn't always there from the beginning.

Think I'm going to download this one again and swap some choices around and play another path. I love the little psycho goth looking daughter.

Back when this game was on the other site there was a cheat/wt mod for it. Anyone knows if it is still being maintained or where can I find it?

How dark is this game?

OK I haven't finished all the content and I was enjoying it well enough on the "gentler" path but now I am getting annoyed. It doesn't seem to respect player decisions or their continuity.
First off Anne keeps implying the MC did a bad thing to her in the bathroom and Rach was right to leave but in my game she hugged and thanked him for killing her molester. Later when the drama is happening with Peters she is all excited about how she wishes she could live there because this house is "off the chain".
It's stated early on the Gwen didn't believe her but there is an option to choose that Gwen caught him and stopped the rape before it happened...so it's an option that doesn't make sense with established story or choose to have her been brutalized. A fair step from molestation.
There is also Rachael acting like a psycho during and after they have sex at the cabin.
This whole fucking game should be renamed the bi-polar experience because these people have completely different mindsets and attitudes every other scene often on the same day. I played the metal gear solid games and the souls series but even I can't keep up with whatever lore is supposed to be happening in this game. Yet I still enjoy it despite it being irritating. Oh well I'll keep chugging along till I run out of content I guess.

Also how does nobody notice a dude and girl wandering the properties even when they go on long road trips!?

I haven restarted this from the beginning and played it non stop yet so over years I never picked up on such things. Maybe Seath is bipolar himself? If so then unintentionally making bipolar characters makes sense. The simpler reason is he's writing for so many AVNs (TLG, PA, DD, RWP, etc) and often with 3-6 month breaks in between any single one it's probably hard to remember the intended mindsets of all those characters as a result of all those choices across all those AVNs, even when your notes keep track of overall subplots. More AVNs from a dev at once isn't always a good thing. I get having a stroke of inspiration or a burning idea pop in your head for a new one that you can't resist writing before previous ones are finished (I'm similar in that regard, you should see my shop/lab, 7-8 half-finished electronic projects/repair queues all lying about), but gee wiz, I don't see how he hasn't lost his mind yet (or maybe he has and it's just kept a secret). I can agree with a dev doing 2 at once since focusing on one can get even more monotonous than usual and lead to burnout, but 5+? No. Burst Out does the same thing, but each of their updates are like 10 minutes long (and even they abandoned at least one of them anyway).

You're probably right but for all its issues the game is strangely compelling so the dev is obviously doing something right.

Walkthrough is native for all the blackheart games, you can turn it on and off in the preferences.

There are clues in the cabin day to explain your confusion

You can just download the latest Ch 3 ver 0.9 and use a Gallery Unlocker. All lewd scenes from the previous versions are included, including DLC content.
No need to download older versions and replay it for scenes.

Well, glad somebody else has noticed how disjointed in inconsistent are the plots in BH games. I just gave up on the stories in those games, especially after latest updates of PA and RoWP. The writing here is not that ultimately cringey as in games like Sunset Fairies or Found in Translation but still the plot doesn't make much sense.

the game is strangely compelling so the dev is obviously doing something right.

Still love some characters though, especially the main LIs. That's why I still around. His characters are some of the most unique and memorable.

Well, even in his first game BHH, the plot and the char's actions very often didn't make much sense and as I understand that was the only game under development at the time.

Thank you, it's good news not to have to start the game from the beginning. This is too often the case.

Like what? Please tell me what I missed because I ain't going back to that part of the game right now.

You can always launch the game on a specific chapter, but here is a spoilered brief:
The story is mostly being narrated from Marshall's point of view. And his sanity is very questionable, you are not very far away describing it as bi-polar, though I would argue this is more schizophrenic. Back on the getaway sequence, depending on what choices you make with Rachel's tea you can see it in more or less detail how he hallucinates her to be someone else.
There is also the whole thing with Cheryl/Mandy, his wife and Peterson. He clearly has troubles with perceiving reality as is and since most of the narration is done through his perception, there are a lot of inconsistencies.

The most annoying thing about Blackheart games is that the writing is actually great; I just wish that they would just set up a situation and stick to it for the game, instead of "all of that" (I just got to the time skip, but it reeks of when the sister disappeared in the guardian, and it became less about dominating/corrupting the family, and more about bending over backwards for your brother.

The models and animation are always so good that I fall for it every time, get all excited about the initial concept, and am left reading an outlast fanfiction book for 3 hours on the back end instead of breaking minds and spirits.
