This update was really good, one of the best in a while. The story was impactful but not too overbearing and the girls took the spotlight in this update which doesn’t always feel like is the case. Most of the scenes I liked and even some of the plot reveals were good. (minor spoiler here) Only thing I didn’t really like is how amanda looked in the future. Can’t wait for more and the lost guardian chapter 3.

Also I have a feeling I know what’s going on with the sister, but I might be wrong since I don’t know what the mc has done off screen, but I had a theory about it ever since revelations and so far it feels like there’s nothing making my theory inherently wrong. Unless they talked in an earlier update and I just forgot and I am being dumb.

You think so? As I can see so far, it is still all over the place as usual in Blackheart games and even more so. Especially now when it is integrated with the WP series. I started playing it last night and realized that I do not care about the plot any more so tangled and messy it has become. I still like the characters a lot and I told many times that Seath is very good at creating them. But he isn't a good storyteller IMO.

PS Also I have noticed that the models' faces look weird in this new update, especially Ken. Yes they are may be more realistic in a way now but some of their facial expressions are just creepy or ugly.

Man this game is pushing my limits on how much evil shit I can handle! A lot of things to like here but I find it difficult to reconcile what a huge evil prick the MC is even on the most gentle loving path this game offers.

to be the one who sweeps the story and presents himself as the actual good guy.

When I played it few days ago, I was legitimately so surprised how much more... evil ways have opened up in this game. Feel like lot of the Dire Desires stuff has kinda seeped into PA... and now Whispering pines.
Although with whispering pines, It would be cooler if it was morally right father who gets methodically, VERY slowly corrupted by his gf.

The "transfer files" work from 0.7 to 0.8 only or from 0.7 to 0.9 also? In other words, we need the 0.8 for transfer the saves and then continue with the 0.9?

I saw that the thread of the game on Fuck95 was locked, the game will still be updated there or just here from now on?

In short last I heard F95 banned Seath as a dev, so Seath banned F95 (rightly so, fuck those guys, only thing they are still good for is stealing their links and pasting them here). Just come here and get it, if the thread is locked there it's not getting updated anymore, and I'm surprised it wasn't deleted altogether like Ketzal was when he stopped making patches (could have kept the old censored versions up with a lock on it).

Honestly, after playing all the Blackheart games, I think I really like only The Guardian, and still I would cut off half of the shit from there. I mean, other games have their moments but on the whole the so called BH Universe is a total mess.
Well, Foreseeable Family is also good, but it's not a part of the universe and at the moment it looks like abandoned.

Well, if Guardian is really the softest among them. Well, perhaps Whispering Pines too.
PA and Dire desires are more... shall we say, evil? Even if you take the softer routes.

Still fun though. I very much appreciate that Seath has balls to tell such stories.

Yeah I miss that one. Seath writes for it but the other dev(s) that work on that also have their own main projects. Everyone's side project = prob nothing more is gonna get done on it. Not sure who else is on that team but if their main project is also abandoned they prob lost the motivation to work on FF. Maybe Seath will pick it up like he did with PA after some of his other AVNs are done (too many already imo, I can't even remember who Levi/Kat is from when they showed up in a PA crossover).

From what I recall LEG was no longer working on FF before Az/ML a BHG Dev took over doing most of the work on it but not as the Editor. Az died and it's been on hold indefinitely since. Seth was the writer at least at the time and there is a chance it may come back under the BHGU but with the way his games are becoming darker I don't know how FF or possibly even PF as was once speculated will ever continue when the darker games wrap up. Hard to say but also hard to see the dark mindset drop so easily.
