Why is it that some games get released without the developer's consent but this game isn't?

Games that have a free public release are posted as soon as the uploaders know about and can process a game. If a dev chooses to release the game on this site, the site will wait until the dev posts the game. If a dev does not release the game here, the site has a waiting period before posting a game that is paywalled, unless the game is already available at other sites. There was a whole ugly fight about this in the past that does not need to be rehashed. The rules that resulted were created to try to balance people wanting access to the games and the devs getting paid to make them.

Like others have said if the dev himself releases the game here, the mods will wait for the public release for the thread to be updated. Also since there are people now adding malware downloaders to these games it's way safer to play the version released by the dev instead of playing a leak.

I wonder when the new update will be released for free. I cannot support the producer because paypal is not allowed in my country.

It's a testament to the character writing that I went into this fully intending to play the dark paths and then had to start over after a while because I just felt bad and wanted to treat the girls well. Story and characters is usually window dressing to me in these types of games, but I don't think I'll be turning Kennedy into a drug addict even on subsequent playthroughs even if that means not seeing all the sex scenes.
The story definitely has some frustrating contrivances, but that's pretty unavoidable in these types of games, especially when there are so many branching options. Although some of these may be an issue of me trying to have my cake and eat it too regarding respecting the girls' consent when they are actually able to say 'no' while ignoring consent when they were unaware (sleep sex and pissing in drinks for example). A big one was Marshal anally raping Kennedy with Mandy during movie night. This was after I'd made sure to always respect her anytime she said 'no', so it was quite jarring.
Also, some of the dialogue doesn't make much sense if you're not participating in sharing content, but I suppose that's also unavoidable due to the nature of the game. Makes it feel less like I've turned sharing off and more like it's definitely going on and I'm just not seeing it.
On a completely different note, I was playing this while high and the scene where the interior of the van changes made me paranoid as shit lol.

That's the neat thing. Paypal isn't needed. Substar operates through the card transactions themselves so all you need is an online account and a bank account for the banks Substar supports.
As for when it's out: It should be 2-3 days. 5 if reeeaaaalllyyyyy stretching it. Regardless... soonTM.
After playing it, can confidently say its in classic Seath fashion a sizable content update!

Yeah, I know it's a big update. After the recent events, I was able to browse the discord a bit. Yes, I thought a lot about supporting this guy. But as you said, even though I have an online account, I don't want my name to appear on my account. Maybe he can make a Crypto Wallet for himself. So the donations will go to the address more easily. I think he'll be more comfortable too.

Today seath released a new announcement on his discord channel. He said that the public version is now released. But I don't know when there will be an update here, I hope it will happen soon.

Honestly man, at this point I'm legitimately curious how far Kennedy can be pushed. Well, on coke path at least. Obviously she has reasonable limits.
