Her depravity in my playthrough was also kind of high. It was at 18. I don't know if that also has an influence on if you get the scene or not.

I mostly selected in favor of depravity. I thought it would bring more lewd scenes but may be the opposite is true.

Hmm is it just me or is the 0.8 Update confusing in the story. I mean it took so many turns that it was hard to follow
It is. That's how these games go. Characters from other games creep in and then you're wondering what's going on because you need the other game to update to fill in the blanks.

Doesn't matter. My point was that "if you don't like something do it yourself" is the most stereotype and most stupid of all arguments.
You need to be able to distinguish what you can influence yourself from what you cannot influence in any way.

Not only that. Seath likes to add numerous plot twists and cliffhangers for the sake of surprise. Sometimes they even contradict each other. As a result, the plot reminds a badly written Indian blockbuster.

I see some people complaining that the choices do not make much difference. With me it is the opposite. I read here that there is a lewd scene with Rachel in the club, but I'm not getting it. After meeting the MC in the toilet she just leaves.
I guess it is because I didn't tell her that I loved her. I don't remember this choice but some dialogue choices mention it graying out some options.
Can you confirm it? I don't want to replay the whole game without being sure.
If you just play the new version and start from Chapter 8, there's a choice at the beginning whether or not you told her you loved her. Pick "yes", skip through everything until you get to the bathroom, and there you go.

I was disappointed playing this addition how little change there really is based on your choices. Asking if you want to have someone brought to the house (which was also in another chapter) doesn't actually do anything. You can't affect the ending scene at all. Start injured, end injured I guess. Not sure how this is going to be wrapped up in a satisfying way.

I kinda enjoy BHG's skitzo story structures but it is also the only game I never try different routes unless it's a chapter skip menu. They're quite fun once you give up trying to make sense of it.

The op says this is a remake/reimagine of the original game? So what is the difference between the two? Is there any reason to find the old version and play it too?

I have the original buried somewhere in my external SSD, but the original was a dude bound to a wheelchair who hired a girl (can't remember if her name was Rachel or not) to be a live-in personal assistant. It was a simple each-action-equals-a-time-slot free-roam corruption game. When it was abandoned, it wasn't very far, story-wise. Three or four releases if memory serves.

The new upgrade was "okay" but overall it lost a bit of quality.

The Rachel scene, with all that buildup in the 7 chapters before, was weird. It feels like a different person.

The new UI looks horrible though.

Thanks, thats good to know. Guess it can be ignored then :)

I'm confused on the save transfer. It doesn't ask me if I want to save. Can anyone make the instructions clearer?

It;s pretty straightforward. Not sure how to make it any more clear.
drop the extracted transfer files into 0.7, just like any other game patch. run 0.7 load a save near the end, play to the end. It will prompt you to make a named save. Make that save. Close 0.7
extract 0.8 to it;s own location, and run it. Start a new game and start playing. don;t load a save in 0.8, just start a new game.

Ok, looks like I was missed the Transfer file in the op. Also didn't know that you had to name or it didn't work.

Does anyone know why I can't see the MC's mother content?

I just copied my save file over. Lol. It defaulted all of the details, names and ages, but otherwise worked.

Yes, the instructions are a bit vague. You need a special transfer file attached in the OP. I didn't find it in the beginning, buried among the downloadable links, got it only after thorough study of the OP.

Do you have the 'DLC' content enabled?
i have the same problem, can u help me ? where do i enable it ?
"The DLC is now built in for Chapter 3. It is only needed for Chapter 1 & 2 (v0.7)" , wasn't supposed to be already activated ?

In Ch. 3 it is off be default. IF you had it enabled in Ch. 2 and used the save transfer it is supposed to enable it in Ch. 3. However it was part of the questionnaire if you did not use the transfer utility.
Otherwise, it is a selection toggle in one of the Settings/Preferences menu
