Opinions on non-humanoid protagonists?

I don't mind it if it is done well, always good to change it up every once in awhile.

The only game I've even played where you don't play as a humanoid is Ravager. Pretty well made game, but it probably would be just as good if not better with a human character in my opinion.. a giant maybe?

In standard RPG games (D&D, etc...) I rarely play human. I can play human in other games (James Bond, cop games, robber games, etc...)

For porn games, for me, it's human protagonists and human Love Interests, almost exclusively. Why almost?

If it's sort-of hidden (Vampire Fangs can retract, shapeshifters can look human even though their natural form isn't) fine. But fucking a vampire, elf, goblin, demon, etc... not my thing. I'm a... humanist?... humanophile?... humanahumana?...

Fucking shit. Fuck it. Heh. Humans only for me. There we are.

Non-humanoid can be pretty broad, I don't mind a great spectrum if it is well handled (mostly well written), but can think on certain cases were it would be very hard to convince me.

Although i like bestiality from time to time (if well done), non-human MC is not really a thing for me. At least ugly beasts ... the standard fantasy races like elves, drows a.s.o. are OK though.

I'm not a really a fan of it honestly.

Ravager is the only one I've played previously. The renders, storytelling, and voiceacting are superb. I don't think the non-humanoid MC really makes much of a difference there, the game would be incredible with a human MC as well.

Ravager is definitely the best game that comes to mind.
Unfortunately is genre with a very limited amount of games and most of them are pretty poor.

I definitely like it. I have enjoyed playing Ravager and I feel like its nice to have some variety out there. Personally I would like to see more games with weird alien protags.

Depends on game and genre.
For example, i love playing zerg in starcraft, hive mind insects and robots in stellaris, etc. I also never played oblivion or skyrim without being a vampire.
However, i'm not fond of male protagonists.

Most of the time so long as mc is neither the ugliest guy around nor whose face is the main focus of sex scenes I'm sure its fine, plus other races definitely deserve some attention, bonus points if a female mc is another race.

I think it's genre that is very hard to be good, I don't like Ravager, because despite the MC being a dragon and thus making sense his dick being that big, it does not match with the woman, like they are too small for that

I have a rather negative attitude.
Let us reason from the point of view of common sense, for what reasons should representatives of non-humanoid biological species (reptiles, for example) be sexually interested in representatives of homo sapiens? I realize that we all carry the genetic heritage of Neanderthals and Denisovans, but these were our closest relatives, the closest to us biologically species of humans, Homo. But a crocodile or a varan? Or the ostrich? This is getting ridiculous.

Considering how much the turtles wanted april...
Joke aside, dont argue with biology in a fantasy genre. And dont forget: Real animals get raped by guys as well and some bitches also like to get humped by animals...
