First I say it is a game with potential. But this potential is not getting used well, if the current version is not more than a framework yet. At several parts of the game the story rushes forward with a narrator, where it would really earned to be worked out more or even a lot more. One the one hand it is nice to already know more about the characters, on the other hand it does not feel well to get important story line information in one sentence or two.
The game, as it is right now, although quiet good, could be a lot better. Hope filling of missing parts will be done later, even if it means to restart the game for it.

Much is narrated directly or via characters, but not shown. Starting Julie and MCs childhood experience, that brought them close. When Julie has stolen a swimsuit and MC took the blame, when Julie saved his life and watched him in hospital, when Julies parents passed and so on.
The relationship between the bartender and Julies Aunt, when MC meet Ankhs parents, what happens in the first week the are together, what happens directly after the shooting, the three month in coma, the recovery in hospital (not mentioning MC is in coma for three month, awakes not bound to machines and starts to work around is not possible) and so on.
Or the death of his sister.
I can understand, that the abusive parts are not shown but narrated. But it is necessary to rework it too, because at different parts of the game it does not fit together, like telling different stories.
I wouldn´t say my list is complete here. It just can give parts of information why you get the feeling it is rushed through at the moment. And that is a pity.

I really dont like the MC. I wish I wouldnt be bothered by MC's acting like complete assholes, but I do.... just in real life... I just hate guys like that and want them dead
